Housekeeper will come in and search through your stuff at 7pm. When your gone. 5 minutes Owner seems down for it. Claims she was cleaning because people check in at 3. What’s that got to do with me. I paid for a week. My room was pretty clean Already. And my do not disturb sign was up. I could say much more.

Was told light, package breakfast available. NO, office locked up, I left after 9 am and the office was still locked. There is a donut place close by. The room was clean but needs some new carpet. Some holes in carpet. No ice machines, told I could go to gas station for ice. The main reason I chose this motel was it close to friends I was visiting.

After experiencing plumbing issues at our own home we decided to book a room for the night. We choose Knights Inn because it was reasonably priced and located near us. Allowing us to easily run home as needed to care for our pets. We were very pleased with our stay. The room was clean and cozy. I was actually surprised at how comfortable the bed was! The staff were all very nice. If we ever have out of town guests I would not hesitate to recommend to them to stay here.

The price may be right, but this will be a choice you regret. We checked in and I had a couple of questions about my reservations (why they photocopied by ID and if the reservation was already paid online). The desk clerk got the manager who ended up yelling at me in front of my 12-year-old son. The room had a funny smell and the toilet ran all night. Breakfast was from 6:00-9:30 and the front door was still locked at 6:15. When they finally opened, the fruit was old (brown bananas) and the manager stood at the desk and glared at us the entire time. This is definitely NOT somewhere that we will ever visit again.

I was again put in a room designated for handicapped guests - don't know why. The room was fine, but had definitely been smoked in recently enough that it had a stale smoke smell. Why are smokers so inconsiderate? The smell was not so bad that I asked for a different room, but was definitely noticeable. Other than that, the room was great for the price. It was not what you should get if you paid twice as much, but I can't get twice as much sleep in a 2X as expensive room. I would stay again if I need a room in Ottawa.
