Localização bastante favorável, a cerca de 5-10 min a pé dos quattro canti. Excelente serviço. O nosso quarto (Zagara) era tranquilo, funcional e bem decorado. Pequeno almoço muito razoável. Única desvantagem: não tem elevador

Quando você chegar em um pequeno largo com restaurantes nada turísticos com guarda-dois, descobre no final da rua um predinho de 3 andares com o BB22. Ali o contraste entre peças contemporâneas e a construção antiga compõem uma atmosfera de charme e acolhedora. Quartos super cômodos e banheiros caprichados. O atendimento é delicado e dedicado.

Great B&B in a great location run by an amazing and attentive team. Surpassed my expectations with the quality of the B&B - large spacious room which was tastefully furnished and opened out to a large beautiful balcony overlooking a courtyard with a 600 year old tree.

A LOT to like ... except for one thing: That long staircase.

This property, recommended in Rick Steves Sicily guidebook, is walkable to both the Port of Palermo and the Palermo Centrale train station. It’s in a vibrant and very conveniently location, near restaurants, shops and Palermo attractions. The rooms are tastefully designed, with all the amenities and rock-solid WIFI. There is a large, comfortable and well-stocked breakfast room – open 24 hours, apparently -- that opens to a beautiful though secluded terrace. The staff was very welcoming and helpful, and amazingly even allowed me to check in to my room at 9 a.m., which was much appreciated. That leads me to the one downside of this property -- that awful staircase (58 steps -- I counted). When you arrive travel-weary, the last thing you want to do is haul a heavy suitcase up several flights of stairs. Amazingly the two women that greeted me offered to whisk my large duffel up for me -- and this thing was HEAVY!! Unfortunately, the next morning when I had to catch an early train, there was no one but me to lug that heavy bag down those 58 steps. If you travel lighter than I do, staircase aside, this place would make for the perfect stay in Palermo.

Hidden gem in Palermo

Before our arrival, the hotel switched our reservation from their other property (near Quattro Canti) to this one. We were a little apprehensive -- how would this turn out? Turns out to be one of the nicer stays we've had in Italy recently. Spotless, comfortable and QUIET rooms tucked away on a mini-piazza in the centro storico. Hotel was super about arranging airport transfers and making dinner reservations -- Emanuela was on-site every morning and is the consummate hostess! Reminded me of the best of Pensione life in the old days, with modern touches like a great bathroom. Highly recommended and not expensive.
