I staid at this hotel with my two adult sons and I would return. There are some bad reviews but you are not paying a lot to stay there. It is very central for every thing yet very quiet at night. The place dose need a good maintenance person to maintain it in good order. good air con, fridge with water each day and free safe.Room was large and very clean but the lighting was very poor. shower room was large but hot water was very temperamental. There was a balcony but we only used it for drying cloths and it looked onto a building site. Good TV but only uk news channel I think. Reception had no AC only a fan but there is so much to do out side rather than sitting in the hotel. Breakfast was included, which was quite basic but was ok and the tea bags were British. If this review was helpful please tick the box. Very good internet. Dont bring a lot of cloths to Thailand as there laundry every were and cheep.
The hotel itself is in a great location, walking distance to everything in Patong. We booked this hotel as it had a pool, we were not informed before arrival this pool is not in use. The rooms an ok size, with cockroaches in the bathroom. The aircon doesnt work properly, the rooms warmer than outside. Balcony has a table and no chairs over looking a building site, with water from the above rooms aircon dripping down constantly. The breakfast consists of an egg and toast. I wouldn't stay here again.
Think twice before booking this hotel
I have stayed in many OYO hotels before and I was very satisfied with their quality and services. But unfortunately this year I decided to enjoy my new year in Patong, Phuket and chose to stay in this OYO hotel, The Chilli Salza. The first thing I heard as soon as I showed my booking confirmation was I had to transfer to another hotel as this hotel was fully packed. I thought ok, if there is an alternative arrangement I will go with the flow. I sat and wait for some one to contact me from OYO. In the meanwhile I was watching at the front office staff and the customers. There were many customers like me who had to be shifted to another place and they seemed very upset and tried to reason with the reception staff. I was shocked to see that the reception staff who was a young woman was very rude and very impolite while talking to the customers. No smile and total no cooperation with every one. She seemed to have done many surgeries on her nose, lips, eyes, chin and almost everything on her face was fake. Other staff seemed to be very nice and reasonable but my eyes got stuck with that rude woman who was turning down every question, every request from every guest. I have never seen anyone in my life this rude and disgusting. So I suggest to all fellow travelers if you are gonna come to Patong to enjoy your time please stay away from this sh-thole.
Rooms are small and smells horrible Sheets stained, and when I ask the staff to change them the lady manager was rude . I leave the hotel 3 days before my check out. I never meet a hotel like this. I m so disappointed. Ps: the water doesn’t work for an whole day, when I ask the manager to fix it she just told me to wait in my room ( very rude )
What ever you do do not go here,if you want a cheap and awful holiday ,then this is ok First it says the rooms are superior,no way are they. Next it says that the breakfasts are Asian,American,English.another lie. If you want a good breakfast go to the hotel paradise spa,you will get an excellent breakfast there ,and eat all you want Also the cook at the oyo,is never a cook.she works on reception at night.then attempts to cook breakfast,my six year old could do better Also we emailed to say we would be arriving about three or four o’clock in the morning and asked to be booked in early.and as I have said the woman behind the desk who acts as the cook ,pointed to the board that says you have to pay 2000baht,asked for an English speaking person.who came.i showed her my booking that stated we would be arriving early and asked to be booked in. Next she said there is no rooms,and in the next breath said if we pay 500 baht we can have a room,so as we where tired,fed up paid it. Emailed the company.what a waste of time that was, So my advice to anyone is give it a wide berth Hugh
