I decided to stay an additional month after my Phuket Sandbox was completed. I came to the Unity and asked to see some available apartments. I met Saba, the rental manager, who showed me apartments at the Unity but also The Bliss. She was so helpful as I looked at several units during my visit. I decided on The Bliss and have throughly enjoyed my stay and working with Saba during the decision process. There is one must while staying here….rent a motorbike; the hike up the hill is extreme….make you stay much more enjoyable with a motorbike.🛵👍

Booked this condo through Air BnB. The room itself is nice in a great location not too far from the beach. The room was let down by poor service eg no toilet paper, very poor towels and an awful check in experience. No one arrived to let us in so spent an hour at 2am trying to get in. We only used the room to sleep in and would not recommend staying there for a long time. The pool on the roof is alright, but you won’t be blown away.

Excellent 3brm Condominium at Bliss

We had apartment 701 (3brm fully equipped) a well presented, clean and tidy apartment. Freshly painted with an amazing 180 degree view of Patong and the ocean, large lass opening doors allowed the fabulous sea breeze to keep us cool during the day. A comfortable walk to Junceylong shopping centre (15mins). Fully airconditioned. Tuk tuk back from the shops and you avoid the need to climb the stairs. Our 3rd trip here in 5 years and this is by far the best self contained accommodation we have had with a nice roof top swimming pool looking out to the sea.

Bliss Condominium through Airbnb

I booked the Bliss (which is a shared property of The Unity) through Airbnb for my stay. The prices were quite reasonable and I had a room with a balcony that looked toward the main city of Patong. Likewise, the infinity pool on the roof faced toward the town and the ocean. The room had adequate space and a kitchen with refrigerator (helpful for storing water). Everything was clean and well-maintained. The building is located at the end of Patong up a hill. I never found the steps to be burdensome, but it would be a problem if you have a disability. The location gives the advantage of having an expansive view from the roof of the entire town, the ocean and distant islands, and the mountains and rainforest to the east. The walk into town takes a few minutes and there are great local shops to get coffee and fruit along the way. I was not interested in the nightlife scene, so the distance was advantageous. The property was quiet and the daily prayers broadcast in the afternoon from the temple across the street added to the quaint experience. I would stay here again if returning to Patong.

One should definitely only go there if you have your own means of transportation. Otherwise you are lost. There are two houses - ‚the unity‘ and ‚the bliss‘ The bliss is on top if a hill and you need to climb 180 steps to reach it. This happens also on arrival. The friendly lady starts her motorbike and of she goes ‚see you there‘ - and you are left with your luggage to carry 180 steps at 35 degrees. Great welcome. The appartement itself is ok. It smells from mold and you can see that it is old allready. The real headach is that the location is direct on the mainraod and there is no nothing to do when you leave the appartement - you always need to walk for a while. There are similar appartments to get in much better locations.
