Location is just perfect for this property . If the staff gives little more time to improve this , it can be unbeatable at this price. It has its own private beach. Rooms are average in terms of cleanliness. Hope they can improve as it is such a good property

If you are looking for peaceful place with less people than Mom Chailai Beach Retreat is the place to go. They also have a private beach. Overall property is Good but it need a little bit of maintenance for Room cleanliness. If you want a nightlife and crowds than you might not consider this as it is 10 min drive from central Pattaya but you can rent a motorbike around 7-11 at the corner around the property

we had originally booked to stay 7 nights but left after one, the location is great and the gardens are lush but the rooms are seriously in need of updating. We arrived after a 12 hour flight to a large locked gate with no lights on, finally roused the guy who mans the desk, no welcome drink no warm welcome at all, rooms were not great and the bathroom is very outdated with an urinal and plenty of ants to keep you company, very poor breakfast. This place could be great if there was some investment.

Amazing Portuguese style Huge Villa with amazing antiques in Main Reception/Lounge rooms ! Ocean right out backdoor ! Very quite and very safe...with 24/7 shops only 100 mtrs up road. Great Breakfast included and staff friendly....Does help if you can speak very basic Thai thou ! (I can )

25-Dec-13: Reached from Airport to Hotel by Car. what a place ! WoW ! leaving in concrete jungle at Mumbai, India suddenly found house having lots of tree, water canal around fort, clean and noiseless surrounding with lots of wooden and earthen antique objects, sample of preciously collected by royal family (this is true that this property belongs to Royal Family). Each artefacts had his own story which was saying himself to all visitors. we got 2nd floor deluxe room facing sea undisturbed. Blue water, sound of wind passing through trees with aroma of sea and wood, touching faces and body of mine was heavenly feeling. It was like bed time song by mother nature to their folks. Highly recommended to all traveller. Family accommodation is about 2500 B per day. Care-taker of this villa also have beach restaurant where you can enjoy unperturbed sun bath and water soprts along with food and drink. Just use back door of property. this is on beach front hence hardly 50 meters from sea. I was able to roam on sea beach till 3 AM along with my kids. 24 hours shop which cater fast food, drink, medicine, mobile recharge is 100 meters away. a very quiet place to spend 2-3 days.
