Staff just couldn’t do enough for us!!!

Wow. We arrived and was greeted with such a warm welcome. We were showed to our room and it was beautiful. We were on the top floor. The bed was a dream!! It was so clean and luxurious. We came here to surf. The hotel staff arranged lifts to the beach where you surf - surf was great. The food here was incredible!! We felt really looked after!! They also organised us a lift from here to north bali! Granted there wasn’t a lot around in terms of tourism but we found that to be amazing. This is how I imagined Bali to be like (not like Kuta etc). This place is also a short walk down to a pebble beach which has a really nice bar. Couldn’t recommend this place more as a quiet, secluded retreat.

The room was nice and clean. Big enough with the private balcony as well as bathtub in the spacious bathroom. The food from the restaurant was also really nice. This hotel is 5 minutes to the beach by walking which make is really nice for doing evening walk to see the sunset there. The American breakfast wasn't really good tho but still fine. Overall, Good place to stay.

Set a little further back from the 500mtr stated to the beach. But it is straight down the lane to the sea and beach. The hotel apparently is 3 stars! Rooms are quite good, clean, and simple with balcony's upstairs. A/C, reasonable bathroom. Ho for a shower that hangs on the wall so you can stand under with a shower curtain. Would make showering much easier and save all the water on the floor. But overall fair rooms but let down by the wild life running free around the room at night. The restaurant side is more like a social club for some of the youngster's in the evenings. While they are well behaved it is a little off putting. Food, what can you say it's Balinese food, nothing special. Rice/ noodles/fish (carp not the best fish). The kitchen needs a lot more in the line of cleanliness to bring up to a reasonable standard. (The waitress was seen sampling iced tea from each glass with the same spoon). Not a lot of options on food around. (Indian 3k away very very good) In short, rooms not bad, food debatable, food hygiene/cooking facilities not so good. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Never saw the mini bar!!!

Great soup couldn't save it

Upon entering we were greeted warmly by a very lovely lady. We took our seats and immediately, the heat was unbearable. The courtyard style space had no airflow and no fans so was unbearably hot in the 30° sun. There was a flat screen TV mounted just above our heads which was blasting out dubstep from it's tinny speakers (!) We asked if it could be turned down and, very surprised, the lovely lady said ok but "special just for you". We ordered our food and stewed in the humid heat hoping it lived up to promising reviews we had read. My gf was put off by the unsanitary conditions so stuck to a toasted sandwich. I went for the local noodle soup. The water we ordered was accompanied by two filthy glasses that we didn't feel like drinking from. The noodle soup was delicious. Spicy, piping hot and full of flavour. The toasted sandwich was a car crash. Absolutely dripping in mayonnaise that tasted sour so after one bite, we couldn't eat any more (my gf spent the evening and following day in the toilet but cannot be certain this was the cause) We paid the very reasonable bill, washed our hands thoroughly and left. On the way out we saw a young couple arrive to stay at the hotel and couldn't help but feel sorry for them. I hope they're ok!

Nice hotel. But no poll . awesome desnination for holiday . really-really awesome amazing . friendly service. affordable prices. the beach tours were very nice. free wifi. nature is still beautiful. local and international dishes. good view.
