My grandson booked at this hotel. He is 19 years old and his car broke down 45 minutes away from hotel coming back from Florida. It was almost midnight and he called AAA and they said they would tow him to the hotel but it would be about 1 am in the morning. Well AAA never showed up. He called and AAA said they had no drivers and could not get there til the morning. He called the hotel to cancel because of the situation and the night manager told him he would have to speak to the owner the next morning. The owner refused to return his reservation money. He said that is Red Roof Inn and Booking.com policy. I checked with both parties and they claim the owner is the only one that can refund the money. HE REFUSES. Why would someone take advantage of a young or any person. Don,t book here! Other hotel chains would accommodate the guest having this situation.

Being a long time card member I was disappointed that RRI had given me a new member number with none of my points carried over. My card saved me only $8.00 off the walk-in rate. My room 107 was basic ok. Their were 2 of the 3 pillows that should be replaced. They were lumping and odd shaped. The edges of the tile in the bathroom need a great cleaning. They haven’t been wiped down in some time. Tile is missing around the shower making it look unkept. I was disappointed that in my $90 stay all the motel offered was coffee. No muffins - nothingt start. More than likely will not stay here again.

Traveling to Perry, GA for an agility trial. Picked the Red Roof because they accepted pets and did not charge a pet fee. I should have paid the pet fee at a different hotel. When I walked into the room, the laminate flooring was sticky. I thought this was due to the humidity, but I was wrong. The floors were nasty! It was so bad, that I went to Dollar General and bought cleaning wipes! The room was only cleaned once during my four night stay. There was dirt and debris behind the night stand. It was just gross.

I HAD a reservation with Red Roof Inn in perry Georgia. Had a 5 day stay planned. Death hit in my family so I had to leave early. Booking.com and REDROOF INN have an agreement that if you book to stay and it's a non canallation booking and if you have to leave they will not refund any if of your money. BEWARE OF THIS AGREEMENT WHEN YOU THINK YOU GETTING A GOOD DEAL. SO IM OUT OF 319.00 DOLLARS BECAUSE I HAVE TO  LEAVE EARLY AND NO ONE THERE. BEWARE OF THIS UNTOLD INFORMATION A TRAP. Moved from one bad room to a worse one.

On our way home from visiting family up north, we made reservations to stop for the night at Red Roof Inn, Perry GA. I had reserved a superior King. When we arrived all the desk clerk said she had was a ADA King (which was not a superior room). It was nice enough appearing but looked very worn out with scuffed up walls. The bathroom air fan made such noise that we asked to be moved. So we got moved to a room with two double beds (again, not a superior room). The walls looked like some fresh paint had been slapped on, and no fan noise in the bath room so we decided to unpack the car. Then we noticed dirt tracked on the vinyl floor and dirt in the sink....and only one towel. We notified the front desk and she gave us more towels and brought a mop and cleaned the floor. By this time we noticed the air conditioner only seemed to be cooling if the fan was on high. After running for several hours this seemed to correct itself during the night after I turned off the fan to stop it and it would finally come back on when the temp rose. The chair was filthy and I asked for a towel to cover that. Then we noticed the door had no safety latch. The microwave cord would not reach the outlet from its location on top of the refrigerator. There was no coffee pot, cups or coffee...only an ice chest without glasses. The final straw was around 9 pm when I went to take a shower and water came out of the front side of the wall under the temperature control...out of a little tab sticking out. It was like an unexpected bidet, and it seemed to sap the water pressure. When Kristin the front desk attendant was told about the shower, she said she had a room she was holding for a party who hadn't shown. What do you know? It was a superior king room like we had reserved. But at the far side of the hotel, we would have had to repack, load the car and drive to the other room and unload the car again. I am attaching photos of the nasty chair, the missing security latch and the strange source of water coming out of the shower wall. In Kristin's defense, she did give us a $25,00 credit against the cost of the room and tax which made the unpleasant experience a little less bitter. Bottom line is the gentleman who was packing his van had stayed there for his work. His room next to ours was also not good and he said this was one of his less positive experiences with Red Roof. I don't know how many other GOOD rooms were not rented and how they opted to pick who they put in the substandard rooms, but I would recommend anyone thinking of staying there to insist on seeing the room first. I don't want to see Red Roof Inns fail, but rooms in the condition that were presented to us should not be rented.
