Great find. Perfect hosts and lovely rooms.

Very nicely presented hotel situated in a quiet area of the town. Our room was immaculately presented with smart contemporary decor. The hotel has a bar and a courtyard style external seating area where we enjoyed a drink or two before heading out for a meal at one of the local restaurants. The town centre is five minute walk with a good selection of places to eat. Plenty of choice for breakfast with a very helpful member of staff on hand to individually prepare freshly cooked bacon and eggs, waffles, pancakes etc. We found the staff to be very pleasant and attentive. As a motorcycle group there was a safe and highly secure flat gated parking area. I can definitely recommend this hotel.

Stayed for 2 nights whilst visiting a flower show near Waterloo

Hidden away in a quiet road not far from the town centre, this hotel is very pleasant. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful when booking restaurants. Found we had been upgraded to a superior room on arrival. Very spacious, as was the bathroom. Shower leaked profusely but apart from that no problems, Would definitely stay here again.

Highlight in rural Belgium

Peruwelz is a little bit off the beaten track but it is well worthwhile to visit just to stay at the St Daniel. Very welcoming and comfortable location in a quiet town. Reception was fast, easy and friendly, room was very modern and comfortable. Breakfast had good choices and options. On-street parking but that was not a problem.

Quirky modern motel

Converted from an old grain wholesaler store this hotel is completely modern and new inside. It nestles in a side street in the rather uninteresting town of Péruwelz. The staff were welcoming and the rooms were clean. Facilities for breakfast were a bit spartan we thought, but there is a very convenient and comfortable courtyard area where you can sit out.

High Praise Indeed

I booked this hotel for my Managing Director recently as he was due to attend a meeting close to Peruwelz. I am known amongst my colleagues for booking hotels (which I think are fine) and my MD complaining that they are not good enough! I had booked a hotel in Brussels for the night before and had numerous e-mails to say how awful it was. I didn't have much hope for this one, however, I have just received an e-mail from him saying that the Hotel Saint Daniel was 'excellent' - which is as much praise as anyone could ever wish for from my MD. I, myself, was very impressed with how they contacted me beforehand, to check whether they had received the instructions on how to get into the hotel if they were arriving later than 10pm. All in all, I feel very pleased with myself that, this time, I got it right!!
