September 2020
Myself and my best friend stayed here for 8 days middle of September 2020 during the Covid pandemic. We went fully aware that things were not going to be open as usual or 'normal' due to the circumstances. However, I have to say we both had a wonderful time, the hotel wasn't busy which meant you didn't have to get up at the crack of dawn just to reserve a sun lounger or cue for drinks, food etc. There wasn't any entertainment laid on and the pool bar wasn't open but social distancing was followed by all staff as was face coverings. It's a shame a lot of the guests had trouble following these rules though. The hotel and room was a little bit tired looking but it was kept very clean and tidy, hand sanitiser was placed everywhere for guests and staff made sure they did their part too. Staff were very friendly and attentive, always happy for a chat and laugh. The on site shop was open and the lady in their was really nice, everything in their is slightly more expensive than in town but it's bound to be for the convenience. Overall, we both had a really relaxing time and would defiantly recommend this hotel and would love to go back again once Covid is all over.
Covid holiday September 2020
We chose this hotel 10 days before we went , as we'd had other holidays cancelled due to covid , Cyprus was on the list of no self isolate on return to UK, but to get to Cyprus you needed negative covid tests no older than 72 hours before travel , so was a gamble we'd get a test and results back in time , a lot of paper work to fill in for the government before flying , but we managed all this , masks on at Gatwick and through the flight, as we landed we were told our plane had been randomly chosen for us all to covid tests as we got off. This was all OK airport very quite , results by txt in 6 hours . Hotel was lovely very very quite no rushing for sunbeds in the morning , obviously not the verity of food that they would normally have but the quality was good . Obviou sly a low level of staff all around the hotel , but every one of them chatty and making the best of things , the swim up bar wasn't open , but the poolside bar and everyone of the staff on that bar were lovely and made our holiday , and my hot bloody marys lol just how I like them. If you walk through the hotel gardens you come to the shops and bars again very quite , but friendly staff every where , was sorry when we had to come home . Some beautiful sunsets seen here 😍
Disappointing ai stay
We stayed for a week all inclusive and were disappointed in general with the hotel and services offered. The food is OK but a but repetitious. The drinks available at the bar were limited and even then bar tenders didn't bother making them properly and missed half the ingredients stated on the menu off. My son liked the moktails and we would ask for one he liked and were handed pineapple juice and lemonade. On the menu it stated orange juice, cranberry and lemonade. No mention of pineapple juice. Apart from one young young girl the bar staff always looked bored and that you were troubling them when you asked for a drink. There were ants in the room. Lots and lots of them. It seems they had made their home in the a/c unit and we reported it but no one ever came to check and we had ants crawling all over the walls in the evening and mornings. No children allowed in the indoor swimming pool. We took our 5 year old to the pool on the second day he was really excited. We just entered when a rude lady at the spa said children weren't allowed in as there were people in using the spa. I was unhappy and said that we should have been informed that we could only use the pool at certain times. She then said we could use the pool as long as he was quiet and didn't make any noise. Not sure how she expects a 5 year old to go swimming and be silent. Anyway we declined as we knew our son loves swimming and would be excited to play in the water. There are no rules about kids using the pool according to reception but the spa staff ask they are quiet. How ridiculous. The indoor pool is small anyway but was split for private swimming lessons for local kids so there was barely any space. Oh and there's no changing area or anything so you have to go to the side and dry yourself and either careful remove your swimming clothes trying not to drop your towel or try and get to your room without dripping everywhere.
Holidays
We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. We had everything we needed. The services are fine and the staff is friendly. The dishes were delicious. The beach is really close and the pool is ok too. We stayed for 4 nights and it was nice.
coronavirus
well second time in hotel did not live up to first 4 days of 10 day holiday good but no entertainment because of virus then be gain to go downhill swimming pool restricted hours then closed by day 6 all-inclusive but some of the alcoholic drinks wear no lounger available staff walking out as they had not been payed others crying then the food started going downhill no choices on the last day before they shut for lock down we had broken dried bread for toast but no butter as they said that it was all gone disappointed with the way we wear treated could of put more effort in a radio playing music would of cheered it up staff being more professional head waiter in bar was very cheafull which helped
