Very clean
Up to our usual expectations. Very clean and newly renovated. Staff knowledgeable and courteous. Easy access to restraunts and shows. Good for family environment. Would recommend to anyone coming to Pigeon Forge.
Great Little Motel
Booked at the last minute and couldn't have been more delighted. Throw back to the motor lodges of the 60's and 70s but very quiant. If you love stepping back in to a great time I would definitely recommend the Conner Hill Motor Lodge
Covid-19 safety issues
I checked in on August 1 for a 2 night stay. Rooms a cheap room. Basic housekeeping sucks. Carpet dirty anyplace that's not easy to quickly vacuum. Nails and screws left hanging out of the wall. Extremely small bathroom. Only floor space is what the door need to open. Signs of mold growing in corners of bathtub. Basic lack of deep cleaning. Bed are decent. No signs of bugs. But be careful when you pull the fitting sheet off. Mattress pad is past do to be cleaned/replaced. Stains, hairs, and dryer lent. Room had a slight smoking smell. But everyone was sitting on the balcony smoking. Door does not seal well. Door pens are not down in the hinges. Basic cheap hotel. You get what you pay for. The biggest problem I had come from basic covid-19 safety. I left the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door. Came back to property around noon and found all the doors on my floor/section open including mine. Walked up to my room and there are two people in it. One has a mask on and the other did not. I told them to get the F out and they argued about why they were in my room. I had to tell them multiple times to get out. Quickly I looked over my belongings and headed back out. Saw them in the next room cleaning. (They claim they leave every room vacant for 24 hours before the next guests checks in. But they enter your room when you are staying) I did talk to the front desk. They did not seem to interested in my concern. Overall staff does not seem remotely concerned about keeping people safe from covid-19. I have only seen one with a mask on. No cleaning of comon areas. They only have what the county mandates.
Loved Conner Hill- Very clean!
My husband and I stayed at Conner Hill Motor Lodge May 11-May17 for 6 nights. Check in was a breeze and the guy working was very nice and friendly. Our room was very clean and decorated nicely. We had a flat screen tv, mini refrigerator, microwave and 2 queen beds. The room was also larger than other places. I am a Destination Expert for Pigeon Forge and I highly recommend staying here. It is an older place but very clean, free breakfast, swimming pool. The location is great. It's right beside a Waffle House. Great rates too. I would stay here again.
Great room at a decent price
I was in town over the Presidents Day weekend for a quick hiking trip, and needed a cheap, but clean place to shower and sleep. I had never stayed here before, but the reviews seemed pretty good for this place and for $73/night it was definitely in the price range I was looking for. Check in was very easy, and the clerk working the desk was very friendly and quick on getting me my room. I found the room to be very clean, furnished, and what I needed for the weekend I was there. While furnished, it was a bit dated, but that is not a huge thing to me. The bed was comfortable and provided a good night's rest after days of hard hiking. The location was good, and convenient to most everything in the area, especially good places to eat. The only qualm I had was the breakfast. I actually didn't eat it, but the problem was that they didn't start serving it till 8:30-not good for someone wanting to be on-trail by then. I just ponied up and walked next door to the Waffle House to eat. The day of check-out, I was going to try the breakfast again, but this time my not-eating was due to the extremely small dining area. It only seats a handful at a time, and it was full upon entering. I am ok with the fare-doughnuts, cereal, coffee, juice, etc... but I know some people desire more, and get more at other hotels in that price range. They should look at expanding their selections, their dining area size, and tailor breakfast to a time for travelers needing to eat earlier. Overall though, I had a pleasant stay and wouldn't hesitate staying again.
