Disgusting smoked in rooms, on going construction no indicated at time of booking. Booked non smoking room got to room and found smoked in. Unable to use room. Front desk said they had rooms but those too would have been smoked in desk clerk said. Unhelpful in trying to make different booking. I had to drive additional Teo hours to next closest hotel. Not appreciated the hastle. Won’t book here again!

Several beetle-like bugs all around my windows. I was only there one night, so I don't want to know if there were more. I killed them. Gross. Towels didn't all seem clean, room was very run down looking and shower was ... ill-kept. It was shockingly impossible to figure out how to even get INTO the hotel parking lot. Most ridiculous entry ever - go to Mexican resto, turn left, go through several other parking lots and giant potholes and there you are. On the plus side, staff was always sweet and lovely.

We traveled to Pikeville for a funeral. The hospitality here was excellent. They offered the bereavement rate which I didn’t know was available. Highly recommend. Was clean and quiet even though it was a sold out weekend. The staff was friendly and helpful. If ever in pikeville again will definelty stay here. They made our trip a great one despite the reason we were there.

I travel the US helping communities recover from natural and humanmade disasters- long days/7 days a week. I cherish a clean hotel and room- I stay extended periods of time. By far, this Holiday Inn Express in Pikeville, KY has the cleanest rooms, dining, hallways, elevator, laundry and all areas. The entire staff= fabulous.

I had to do an extended business stay in Pikeville, KY. This is one of 2 of the best hotels in Pikeville, KY. It is very clean and modern. The staff are wonderful, kind, and will go out of their way to make sure your stay is good. The rooms are nice, clean, smells nice and decent. The beds are comfy as well. The ice machine and laundry facility work great. They have a grill and gazebo in the back on the 1st floor. It is a very nice place to sit and relax. They serve complimentary breakfast every morning. They have a really cool pancake machine that makes piping hot pancakes with a push of the button. They hotel is right next to the interstate and a river. You can walk down to the river it is very relaxing.
