Disgusting,, filthy,,,and smells Breakfast is atrocious , broken chairs ,, can’t see through the windows ( covered in bird poo) Would not recommend it . But I must say there was an elderly lady on nightshift in the dining room ,, that was so helpful,, she went out of her way to make our stay pleasant Unfortunately the bad out weighed the good

Very bad experience with this business hotel. Cleanliness ZERO. The toilet on the ground floor at the reception was dirty. The tissue paper was on the sanitary bin (disgusting!) and there was no hand wash. Unprofessionalism and stubbornness of the Hotel Manager. No revert back. The Guests had to checkout on the same day one hour after check-in. The door of the room was broken. The bathroom was smelling and in a bad state. For the Hotel Manager it was clean!! I wonder if she keeps her house also like this. I would not even give one rating. I wonder how this hotel got his permit to operate! What they show on their website is the opposite of the reality! Room need some more improvement but it release to the guest. Front desk staff friendly and smiling. The paint of the ceiling is cracking and falling. AC was leaking and it get the pillow wet. Definitely there is more improvement to work on Thanks

killed two cockroaches in my room

it didn't bother me a lot when I noticed that the room was run-down and many appliances didn't work, like the telephone, the sockets etc... however I was rather disturbed when I saw a cockroach in the toilet and the day after another one in the room... I told the reception and no action was taken by the hotel

Dear Karishma Ramlochan, Manager & Finance, Palms Hotel, Quatre Borne For the umpteenth time, can you please provide me with a status update on my refund? I never for once imagined that I will have to deal with such degree of unprofessionalism. I fail to understand the fun that you people take out of making people beg for their hard-earned money. Just to refresh your memory, please find the timeline of events in the pic below, from the unfortunate moment I booked with you to date. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions imposed by the Mauritian government, I am currently unable to fly back to Mauritius. I have on 2 occasions booked my travel package via the MTPA Online Reservation Platform but due to the travel ban on South Africans being extended, I have had to cancel both times. Although my first cancellation with Sealife Resort & Spa went smoothly and the full 30% deposit amount was refunded to me, my second one with Palms Hotel is proving to be an uphill battle. If today I am reaching out to you, it is because I have used all my other options but to no avail. Since the 25th of January 2021, the personnel of Palms Hotel have been taking me for a ride. It's been not weeks, but months, several months since i am waiting on false promises and hope that the management of Palms Hotel would refund me, as promised, only to be repeatedly met with further prolonging, lack of communication for weeks and endless excuses by the staff and management (Vimla Bhikeea, Ourvashi Mungur and Karishma Ramlochan) of Palms Hotel. All this time, I have done nothing but beg the management to refund me my hard-earned money and this is beginning to take a toll on my mental health. Once again, I beg of you, please give me my refund and provide me with a turnaround time for it. Whether it will take a week, a month, a year or a decade, at least provide me with one which you are going to honour. Thanks & Kind Regards Ms. K. Sonny
