Voltarei!
Localização, estética e simpatia dos funcionários...
Estive neste hotel e adorei. Esteticamente interessante, os quartos muito bonitos, piscina excelente, comida muito diversificada e muito Saborosa (sou vegetariana...e foi considerado pelos funcionários que foram ncansáveis). Adorei... A vista é fantástica, rooftop fabuloso. A limpeza fantástica!
On arrival it was one of the best welcomes we have ever had. Polite efficient and in no time we were shown to our room. It was on the fourth floor facing the road. We didn’t have a sea view but it didn’t spoil the holiday. The room was nice and clean with a nice walk in shower. The location of the hotel is ideal, not far from the beach with a nice walk both to the left and right along a well looked after walk way. To drop down to the beach there is a lot of steps to navigate so not easy for the elderly, although there is a lift available. The service was excellent and we never had a problem finding something nice to eat. The roof top bar was good with plenty of sun loungers and great views. A cocktail mixing show during the morning was on most days. It’s a nice place to relax so we never tried the pool area on ground floor which looses the sun in the afternoon. We found that the wine and drinks were good, but the beer although was nice we could only have small glasses in All Inclusive. The non A/L could have pints but they had to pay for them. The roof top bar no longer operates for A/l in the evening which meant it is always empty, a real shame. The bar in the entertainment area was good with some good artist singing in the evening. The hotel is kept very clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. We were lucky the we arrived home just before the shutdown due to the coronavirus. We wouldn’t hesitate in returning to the hotel but because we enjoy a long walk on the beach and we will probably not return due to the steps down to the beach.
Worst Hotel in Gran Canaria
Booked on Saturday 14 March for arrival on Sunday 15 March and a catalogue of mismanaged fiascos from the first hour of arrival. Handed a guide to the hotel in a language other than that which I speak, along with a warning letter about COVID-19. After checking in, we were then advised verbally that we were not permitted to leave the complex. On Monday we were advised that due to the instructions of the police, you were changing the opening times of the bar from 24:00 to 22:00. On Tuesday we were advised that they were closing the bar after dinner, and no drinks would be available after dinner. On Wednesday we were advised that all of the bars would be closed, along with the pool and the areas for sitting by the pool. When asked why, we were told that management could not trust the guests not to use the pool. We were advised that the restaurant would be available for residents who had all inclusive packages, for snacks and drinks from 10:30 - 18:00 Today, Friday, we have been advised that the hotel was reducing the hours of the restaurant and removing all drinks service from All Inclusive residents. Unfortunately the waiter who advised my party of these changes was unable to confirm what these new times would be, as the Customer Relations person with the information had gone off to lunch. Requests to see these Police Instructions were refused by the hotel staff despite requests from residents and travel insurance companies. One guy who kept asking for information was told by the manager to be quiet or he would be arrested and deported back to Germany. I have stayed at many hotels around Europe and prior to this week, my worst experience was at a Formule 1 on an industrial park in Northern France. Now I realise that even the Spanish can give the French a run for their money when it comes to being obnoxious and rude.
