Fomos e na época só tinhamos 2 filhas pequenas. Ficamos na surf house, praticamente uma casinha somente para gente. A comida é uma delícia mas nano tem muita variedade. O hotel é mais apropriado para casais, pois nano tem muita atividade para as crianças, mas, a é pé na areia, então já acho isso uma atividade mais do que incrível para as crianças. Elas amaram e falam desta viajem até hoje. A surf house é simplesmente incrível... toda aberta para a praia. A única desvantagem é ir no banheiro, pois a casa é toda aberta e é preciso sair do quarto. Tem uma banheira ao ao livre super gostosa! Atendimento ótimo.
Grossly overpriced and terrible service

We spent a few weeks in Santa Teresa and had to change hotels 3 times so got a good feel for what would be considered the high end hotel market. Flor Blanca was beyond disappointing and so incredibly overpriced.
The rooms are a cool concept and having the outdoor living space was nice. The bathroom being outside seems appealing for the setting but not when you have to go in the middle of the night and there are bugs, bats and possibly raccoons everywhere, it is slightly terrifying.
The linens are cheap and they only provide 2 pillows per room which are not comfortable. The concierge service is not visible and they are so incredibly slow to respond. We ended up booking 95% of our dinners, trips, etc on our own because of their delays which is not what you are paying for at this price point.
The restaurant is fair. As a gluten free, pescatarian I had 1-2 choices on the menu. Items they had listed as gluten free were not available. On Valentine’s Day, they did not even have a catch of the day or other seafood alternatives. They did not share this until we had sat down and then were left scrambling to find somewhere to eat. In a town where seafood is plentiful and the primary item on menus this is unheard of. Our friends, who were staying off site, arrived before we did for dinner and the server questioned our reservation, was rude and unwelcoming and made them sit and wait for our arrival before seating us in a completely empty restaurant. We know why it was empty!
Guests are also not welcome to join you at the pool or the beach, even when no one is there and if they have lunch or dinner, since they are not staying at the hotel. They are so rude about this policy and will remind you via text if they see anyone on site. This was quite the opposite of other high end hotels we stayed at in Santa Teresa which were so welcoming.
Parking is a nightmare. It’s so incredibly tight and overfilled, often leading you to park on the street- especially when outsiders come for yoga. Stefanos’ yoga class is the only thing worth visiting this hotel for.
We could not get out of here fast enough. This hotel is grossly overpriced and the staff is rude which is the most disappointing part in a land of incredible, hospitable people. Save your money!
HORRIBLE SERVICE, management does not care whatsoever

Horrible Spa experience. Went there 2 days ago and walked out within 5 minutes of the massage starting. It is now Monday Feb 8th and the Manager has not even contacted us despite being notified of this incident. Their Masseuses are not confident and lack in technique and training. Staff are rude and have ZERO customer service skills.
Horrible service at restaurant. Double standards by staff - they follow rules for somethings and do not follow rules for other things.

This is a complaint about KENDALL and is being reported to the MINISTRY OF HEALTH and the health inspector here in Costa Rica. Kendall who is the bartender who works all day always has his FACE MASK loosely hanging under his nose and does not comply with the COVID regulations!
This morning, after the yoga class, at least 20 people gathered in front of Kendall's station at the restaurant and he did not do his 'DUTY of asking them to wear a mask. We have been going to Florblanca DAILY and not once has Kendall asked us to wear a mask while walking in, or talking to him at the bartender station. ISNT HE VIOLATING THE LAWS OF MEDICAL SAFETY BY NOT 'doing his job' properly?
We used to go here DAILY for breakfast, lunch and sometimes even dinner. Today, FOR THE FIRST TIME, we were not feeling well and were feeling light-headed so went to sit on the swing for just 5 minutes.
Kendall came to us and said it was against the rule and that only high-paying-hotel guests can use the swing. We told Kendall that we would leave in 15 minutes and he shook his head (meaning NO) in a direspectful way and walked away rudely!
I had even told Kendall that my husband was feeling light headed and asked for honey to 'give him an immune boost', and Kendall knows us very well - we go there almost daily! We felt sitting in nature on the swing would make my husband feel better so we ordered 2 fruit juices and went to the swing.
When Kendall rudely walked away, we immediately left the swing and went to pay for our juices and found Kendall complaining to all the kitchen staff about us. Is this how you treat your REGULAR DAILY CUSTOMERS who are so good to you for sitting on the swing for 2 minutes when they are feeling sick or feeling light headed?
Kendall - you said YOU HAVE TO DO YOUR JOB. Then why is your mask hanging under your nose all day? You are supposed to COVER YOUR NOSE with the mask.
Kendall - Why do you wear SLIPPERS/ FLIP FLOPS when you serve us at the restaurant?
Kendall - How come you FORGET to charge us for a smoothie sometimes? Do you do it purposely so that we tip you more? Is that you doing your job?
Today you complained about us to all the kitchen staff? We thought you were a friend, but you are just a ROBOT with no heart and no brains! We were going to give you $100 for your beautiful little girl on our last day here (which is in 5 days), but your behavior has really hurt us. We told you it was the first time we were ever sitting on the swing in our 1 month here, and that we would leave in 15 minutes - did we not?
And LOUISE - you kept rudely saying to us that 'you have to follow rules in our hotel' - is that how you follow rules by ALLOWING PEOPLE TO GATHER at the restaurant all hugging and kissing and talking after yoga without masks? How come you have NEVER asked us to wear a mask while entering the restaurant, or going to the washroom? You serve us every day with Kendall, and why are you NOT DOING YOUR JOB THEN?
Both your names have been reported to the Ministry of Health.
Never coming back to Florblanca. All the best. You have left a very deep hurt in our hearts; we honestly thought you were our friends.
Allison and Judy - you guys are amazing, you always follow rules and are so sweet to us, so respectful, so polite, always checking on us, excellent customer service. Allison - thanks for everything, sending you our love and best wishes.
Judy - thank you my friend for recommending such nice dishes such as the grilled mahi mahi with veggies. You are amazing. We won't see you again after Kendall's very rude behavior to us, but we send you our love and best wishes.

While spending a month in Costa Rica ( Pinilla ) we decided to venture down to Santa Teresa for four days. Clay @walkonwateradventures recommended we stay here and thank goodness we listened. We arrived the day they opened after being shut down due to Covid. We were greeting immediately when we pulled into the parking. The staff was very safe and cautious but also so gracious. We checked in and were taken to our villa. AMAZING is all I can say. The pictures we saw online were beautiful however being in the villa was 100x better. The entire staff was truly amazing. We dined in at the resort numerous times from breakfast , lunch , sushi, dinner. I will say our meals each time were amazing. The beaches were so beautiful along with the sunsets. I was able to get in a private Pilates class which was awesome. The instructor truly knew what she was doing and really made me sore :) The nature surrounding us was incredible. I would highly recommend if you travel to Santa Teresa that you stay at FlorBlanca.
