My husband and I wanted to visit the IL side of the Mississippi and get away from chain hotels. This B&B is perfect. Well-run by a wonderful owner -- Connie, clean, quiet, with fabulous breakfasts. The town offers a small grocery store and several restaurants, close to Fort Du Chartres, with massive bluffs looming above. We hope to visit again in the near future. We stayed in the Mississippi Room with access to the porch where we could watch the sunset.

My husband and I had a fabulous stay at the beautiful Conner House Bed & Breakfast! The owner, Connie, was wonderful and very welcoming! We learned so much about the history of the beautiful home as well as the fabulous town it's in, Prairie du Rocher! The breakfast was yummy, too! Treat yourself and enjoy a stay here! We'll be back!

My wife and I were traveling south on the Great River Road along the Mississippi. While looking for a place to spend the night we discovered this Hidden Gem in the quaint little town of Prairie Du Rocher. What a lovely restored turn of the century home. Our Hostess Connie help make our stay very memorable. She gave us a history of the home and the town of Prairie Du Rocher. The home was beautifully restored and the breakfast was wonderful. If traveling in the area take a turn off the main road to the Connor House B&B. You won't be disappointed.

We stayed with Steve & Cheryl while in IL to see the eclipse. We were so comfortable and enjoyed a relaxing visit. We were especially grateful that Cheryl offered to make us a hot breakfast to go on our last day when we were planning on leaving before 5am for our trip home! We would definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.

Steve and Cheryl are great hosts. They made a steak dinner for valentines day with chocolates, roses and wine. We had Monte Carlo sandwiches for breakfast, yummy. We went junking and it is close enough to boat ramps to go fishing. Fort De Chartres is nearby also.
