I have mixed feelings about this hotel

First I did not get the room I booked, I booked a room with two beds, and I got a room with one bed. A very tiny room Hardly any place to put my luggage. There is only one nightstand, and light switches and socked is only on one side of the bed, that is how small the room is. That side of the bed is slept in so much that it is a hole.
My son has the room we booked, very spacious, big, two beds, lots of storage space. I have to climb over my own luggage to get to the bathroom.
There is a desk, but it hardly fits, I can't even move the chair because of the bed.
Way too small a room.
There is a constant lack of hot water, So far, and I am still here, I had 2 hot showers in 3 days, the rest were cold or luke warm.
You constantly have to log in to the wifi for it keeps disconnecting and it is dodgy. when it works it is fast and good, but it has these relapses in speed that make it hard to do anything constant, like work online.
Parking is outside, open-air, in front of your room, but it is cramped, they say on booking sites rooms have garden or pool view, but I look at parking.
It rains a lot and the rainwater just pours from the roof, right in front of my door, but also at the hotel entrance, so when you get out of a taxi or step outside your room it is like you are under a waterfall, you are soaked instantly.
The staff is friendly but distant. check-in was fast. Parking is regulated by an unfriendly elderly citizen, same with vehicle registration. (WHY??? He even wanted the building year and type of the motorcycle)
Enough water pressure although like the internet it is on and off, it oozes.
Fluffy towels, nice bed, as long as you do not sleep in the whole.
Difficult to get the lights out from my side of the bed.
Overall a good hotel, but somehow we are not a match, because I expected more for the price of 689 MXN per night.
I am a constant traveller and I have slept in many hotels, I have slept in cheaper hotels with better showers and beds and bigger rooms.
Very quiet here though......
Far from the city center of any other activity.
Would I go here again? I doubt it.
COVID Rules and regulations are scares, the staff wears a mask, but that is about it. The remote control is in the room not covered in mandatory plastic. There are cards from the hotel that are old and dirty and a pen.....I doubt that is sanitized. They say they sanitize the rooms, they have a photo of a guy in a hazmat suit with some steam thing, but I only see housekeeping and nothing like that at all.
The sign on the door guarantees me the room is sanitized......it is clean though but standard hotel clean.
WOULD I STAY HERE AGAIN?
Probably not, I think I can do better and cheaper.
Spacious, quiet, but centrally located

This is a great hotel in downtown Puebla especially for those travelling by car or motorcycle. You can park right outside of your room in most cases. The hotel has recently been renovated and our room was very nice; not large, but clean, new, and equipped with all of the usual amenities. There is a pretty little swimming pool, with places to sit and read or rest in the interior garden, away from the noise and traffic of the City. The hotel isjust a couple of blocks off Juarez Avenue where there are many great restaurants, coffee shops and bars. It is about 3 kms from the main square and historical downtown area of the colonial city.

Was in Puebla for the Festival Mundial de Coros. We ended up sharing three to a room, so things were a bit more cramped than I would have liked. However, the room was perfectly adequate for two people (which it was intended for). It had a big window with okay curtains (you do have to know how to arrange them). The bedding was okay--seemed to be clean and the bed was comfortable enough. The wifi worked well most of the time, though there was a night when we were without service. A nice bathroom with a spacious shower and the towels were replaced daily, as well as the soaps and shampoo/conditioner. Btw, the shampoo was great, but I thought the conditioner was rather weak--bring your own! The water is safe for bathing and brushing your teeth and the bottled water they set out for you is also perfectly safe. I didn't get sick at all during my 8 day stay.
The rooms at this hotel can be either close to or far from the reception. In our case, we were placed in the rooms near the swimming pool--quieter than the ones near the street, I guess, but if there are children staying at the hotel, you will hear about it (there's a play park near the pool), so if you prefer street noise to playing children, then be sure to ask for a room that isn't near the pool. I personally enjoyed my room's location as I didn't have to deal with annoying traffic noises. The breakfast provided for us was sufficient and reasonably tasty. I have no idea of how things work outside of the festival and it may be that it's completely different, but lunch and dinner can be a bit bland at the hotel unless you specifically request pepper sauce (salsa picante). The only inconvenience is that the hotel isn't that near shops and all and it's a bit dangerous to go out at night unless you're in a group. There's an Oxxo about a block and a half down the street which stays open 24h and is a cheap/safe place for you to get bigger bottles of water, juice, snacks, hygiene products and whatnot. Otherwise, it takes about 20 mins to half an hour to walk down to the historic area/cathedral/shops. If you're in a rush or don't like to walk, a taxi is worth spending on, but do try to negotiate the price--we managed to spend only 50 pesos from the city center to the hotel. The staff is pretty friendly and tries to help you. If you are in a second or third floor room, definitely ask for a porter's help to get your suitcase to your room as there is no elevator. Word of warning: it rains almost every day and the smooth tile near the rooms can be very slippery when wet--if you have to run somewhere, run on the concrete. In general, it was a pleasant stay and I would stay there again. For the price range it's in, it's worth it.
free gated parking, heated swimmingpool

This hotel is situated 10 blocks from the main zocalo, nearby a restaurants' avenue and just 4/5 blocks from a nice park and attractions. It's modern and quite clean. Has a heated pool and a playground for childre. An ample gated parking and a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner open till 10 pm (roomservice till 9.30pm).
Food quality is not the greatest but not too bad.
Rooms are a little small but beds are comfortables and the showers are excellent!
Wifi in the rooms is very weak, but free and in the common areas works fine.

It was just one night but it was enough to know that I will never stay here again.
First, the curtains are not wide enough to cover the window so, everybody can see you inside and all the light from outside dont let you sleep well.
Then, the sheets and the pillows are the worse ever! (And I have stayed in those cheap motels in USA during a road trip).
There is no AC or heater in the room.
TV is ridiculousy small.
