The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. If I could rate no stars I would. The basics you ask with any hotel would be cleanliness, this hotel is severely lacking there were hairs that looked pubic all over the bed, the bed had not been changed. The toilet had not been flushed, the window did not shut, the carpet had not been hoovered and there were black stains and dust over the furniture. There looked as though there were bed bug faeces on the pillows. The mattress was full of hair, wine stains over the bedside cupboard with crumbs and food debris. We complained about the cleanliness about the first room, we were moved to another room that was just as dirty, our friend had also booked at the same hotel and the room was just as unsanitary even worse. It’s disgusting - when I left and told the staff member how filthy it was she said “I know”. I rarely write reviews but felt compelled to help anyone thinking of staying here.

Stopped by to check out a family connection on the trip from Bristol to Poole. A warm welcome at the bar, sadly food service was finished but any pub that has Scampi Fries gets five stars in my book. Mid 20th Century theme, Dad’s Army was playing on the TV. The town has many memories of the past in and around the hotel, well worth checking out.

Dirty place needs a good update

My husband booked this hotel just for one night stay on Saturday night…I would never stay in here again the room need a good update it’s all very old also it very noisy at the front with people leaving the pub and traffic going by all night..Also they keep the heating on and it got so in hot in room..The bed sheets was clean but the beds need to be Chuck out and replaced…The man showed us the room lifted seat on toilet and someone had used it and not pulled the chain(gross)

Thank You to all staff at The Radstock Hotel.A long stay and all was very good. Food excellent,nice clean cosy room,and to finish my stay,a great night on a Staff Christmas Party! A big thank you to Leeanne and Will for a lovely dinner! My thanks to Sarah who was kind and caring during my stay! Happy Christmas to you all. M 🎄

Booked believing it had restaurant that catered for evening meals. Contacted a few days before we were due to arrive only to be told they don't do food. He said that's the old website. Only website I could find . Only do breakfast on Friday and Saturday. We had no heating in our room when we told the owner he questioned it,he said he'd have a look,never heard anything after that . You need heating in November. My husband got the heating working on the last day, we were there for 3 night.We had to ask the bar staff for milk to make a drink in our room. We had to get our own toilet rolls. Bar staff and locals lovely .
