We were attracted to the rustic design and booked the 2-storey unit. The bathroom towel holder is broken. The hair dryer is not working. At night there is insects flying around our ears so we couldn’t sleep well. The pillows are yellow and worn out. Breakfast has limited items. We paid USD260 for the accommodation. Not worth the price.

This hotel is conveniently located along the road with a bus stop just outside next to a primary school. Room was sufficiently comfortable. Bathtub is deep but treacherous to get down without support on the wall. The restaurant is probably the best place in the hotel with excellent ambiance and good food at reasonable price. Staff were helpful and friendly. Easy to get to Cingjing Farm with bus stop just outside. Walking distance to Small Swiss Garden and Visitor Centre

Stayed here for 2 nights with my wife and 1 year old son. Loved the stay here. The place is so beautiful and serene. People here are very nice and helpful. The support desk helped in setting up the Qinjing farm tour and also Taichung trip back. Though their English is not fluent, but 100% marks for the effort to converse in English and help. It's a must visit place if you want to break away from all the hustle bustle of city life. Look for mountain view room which has the best view from balcony. There are many must visit places around like Qinjing farm where you can spend some time with sheep and horse. It also has some walkways which you can do if you are into trekking. There are 7/11 shops and family marts around which is convenient. There are many western and Asian restaurants nearby. But I recommend the food at provence rose. They have a limited menu but the ones we tried were also delicious and not pricy at all. Less items in menu suggests that they are good at what they make. Highly recommended. Try the set menu which comes with soup, salad, dessert and main course. We paid 350 twd, which would have costed 600 twd outside. Creme brulle is a must try. Overall, we loved staying here. And especially liked the warm reception and helpful staff. This is hidden gem, and would definelty return. Special Thnaks to Roger and team.

We stayed at the Provence Rose from 20-22 Nov 2018. Upon arrival, we decided to upgrade our room to one with a view,and we were not disappointed. The room we were given faced the mountains and the sun rose exactly right in front of our balcony. It was such a magnificent sight to behold - we totally agreed that the upgrade was well worth it! The scenery changed so much in a day; clear blue sky, misty afternoon, dusky evening... we fell in love with the mountains! Ah Liang, one of the young staff there, was very helpful in assisting us with the room upgrade, and eagerly provided us information with the surroundings. He was also very honest in telling us that we'd left a G-shock watch behind in the first room we were given!

We had a charming time here, especially with the shared plunge pool between our room and that of our friends. Friendly staff and good service! We liked the decor in our room and the location of the Lodge as well.
