If you are looking for a hotel that is not clean has crumbs and hairs on the sheets and whisker shavings around the sink then this hotel is for you. As for me I’ll never stay here again. The first room had the crumbs and the second room had the whiskers and dirty comforter. Maybe I should sleep in my car.

We picked this hotel for the pool for our kids and based on pictures online. The pictures are incredibly deceiving as the only thing nice in this hotel is the lobby and breakfast area. They closed the pool and game room due to "vandalism" which we found out that evening when we went to use it. I asked if they were planning on opening it in the morning and the desk lady said they bathrooms were vandalized and she was unsure. I told her we choose this hotel because they had a pool. I checked back in the morning and spoke to another person who said the pool was still closed. I asked him when it would be open. He said they had someone coming in at 9am and wouldn't be ready until at least 11. Convenient since that is checkout time. He said they vandalized the men's bathroom in the pool area and maybe put soap in the hot tub. I told him we choose this hotel for the pool and he said sorry but no offer to try and make things right. On top of this, there was a haze in a few of the hallways, a unique musty odor in most the building and stairwells, grungy carpet in the halls and the rooms, very thin walls between rooms, and the bathroom had some mildew issues and other issues as well. Also the WiFi was terrible. If you do stay and fill out the survey afterwards that was emailed don't expect a refund which the chat service that they ask you to take part in cant do that and they are about as responsive as the hotel. Good luck, at least the breakfast was pretty good.

While the hallway is really, really long, this was a great place to stay. We were welcomed and checked in promptly. The room was clean, neat, and very quiet (it was a Wednesday night). The best part was that they had a fabulous HOT breakfast - something so rare these days. We would definitely stay here again so please give it careful consideration when in Rhinelander, WI.

Pool hot tub closed broken jets, 3 of the pieces of workout equipment broken. Stairwells smelled of old smoke & musty. Hotel washer broke. Old time 9” spring mattress on the bed. Very outdated hotel. Not worth $265 for 2 nights

Good Location for Cycling

I stayed here for 2 nights along with 140 other bicyclists. My only complaint was that my room was not ready until after 6 PM on my arrival day, due to being short of staff. At least we got to use the pool showers to clean up after a bike ride and to be ready for dinner. Otherwise its a good location for rides. They let us keep our bikes in a conference room and to park our cars there for the week, even though we would not be staying there the whole time. Our room was clean and the breakfast offered good choices.
