Great holiday - would recommend

We (son aged 9, husband and myself) returned last night from a weeks break here and had a fantastic time. The weather was glorious and around 24 degrees each day. Great for children and us fair haired and ginger folk 😃. The hotel and grounds are kept spotlessly clean by friendly and helpful staff. The hotel was quiet, being the last week of the season (we left on their last day), but that was to our benefit, with us being able to enjoy the relaxation with no queues. The staff effort and standards were kept to the very end. The food in the restaurant was varied and tasty. The snack bar was a little repetitive on choice but again very tasty and we happily ate there every day. The Greek salad in particular was delicious, huge chucks of feta 😋. The staff on the snack bar (food and drink) are super friendly and work so very hard. There were a fair number of wasps around and it would be good if something could be done to deter these. Particularly for the bar staff, where the wasps were going for the cocktail liquids but for eating guests too. However, we’ve had many a picnic on days out this year in the UK, where wasps have been an issue! We meet another family whilst on holiday and we all commented that we enjoyed the food. A shout out to the entertainment staff too (Aimy, Leo and another two who’s names I didn’t get). They were fun and encouraging, without being pushy. The boys from both our families and adults all enjoyed boules, darts, water aerobics, water polo, bingo, kids club etc. There was much more we could have done too. The pools were fun and super clean but were cold. Fine once you were in though and the children were in and out all day. A couple of solar panels would make a huge difference though. We’d recommend a trip to the waterpark. There’s a free bus from the bottom of the hill (5-10 min walk from the hotel) and takes you straight there and back. Also, the free hotel shuttle to the beach and beach bar of the ‘sister’ hotel is definitely worth it. A lovely pebble beach and crystal clear water (warmer than the pool too 🤣). If you drop little pieces of bread roll around you, the fish swim right up to you. The boys loved snorkelling with them. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would go back the same time of year. Thank you for a great holiday.

Mixed feelings of this hotel really in the whole. Cleanliness and grounds where superb. Food absolutely garbage and the smells upon entering the dining area 🤢 Horrible lady on the front desk of the spa. Plus drinks after 11pm are charged 😡

Arrived very late evening 15th October with my husband and 11 year old daughter. Sandwiches and water in fridge in our room on arrival which is a nice touch. We had a sea view room which looked out also onto the 2 main pools. Lovely views. Rooms are small but very clean and modern Long transfer from the airport so we opted to do a private one, unfortunately ours didn't turn up so we did have to jump on the jet2 coach which was my worst nightmare travelling nearly 2 hours late at night after a 4 hour flight! The restaurant- breakfast was a choice of fish pancakes, bread, fruit, cooked breakfast.... never touched the bacon it looked raw and so oily, also sausages are the hot dog style ones which don't appeal. The scrambled egg and cooked tomatoes were delicious. Evening meals- usually a good variety enough to be happy for a week but any longer I would of got a bit fed up. They did a greek night where they had gyros, moussaka, lamb, it was yummy, fresh salads, vegetarian options too. The waiters and waitresses are pleasant but they just can't clear the tables quick enough. One night we came down and were stood for a few minutes having to wait for a table to be cleaned. In previous 4* hotels we have always been shown to a table straight away, something which I think the princess sun should do. The poolside bar serves up some yummy grub, fresh pizzas, chicken, gyros , chips, ice creams, salads. Hats off to the chefs and the two lady's behind the pool bar they are very polite and happy all of the time. One thing I will say is that they need to get on top of the wasp situation!!! I have always been petrified of wasps but I think I have overcome my fear staying here!!! They are everywhere around the pool and pool bar so u can't eat or enjoy a drink in peace! Where are the wasp catchers?? Cmon guys sort it out!!! Entertainment team- well done to them all they really are great especially George Leonardo and Anna, they put on some fab shows and are great with the kids!! The hotel is situated at the top of a steep hill so please bear this in mind if u have mobility issues. The hotel do put a bus on every 30 mins down to the beach, we didn't use this as we ended up hiring a car for 3 days from the hotel which cost 140 euros. It was well worth the money. We visited pefkos , lindos and Rhodes town There isn't much in kiotari at all, a few shops and the odd restaurant. We did find the most beautiful cocktail and tapas bar though called mosa beach. Walk to the bottom of the hill from the hotel and turn left. You come to some shops on your right hand side and its just down there. The best tapas and cocktails and the setting is just amazing, right on the beach Late check out- after reading the negative reviews of the blonde haired lady on reception, I waited until the night time staff came on. Paid 76 euros for a late room until 6pm but we had a sea view room which are more expensive than the standard rooms. It was done straight away. The hotel bar was a bit strange. No music playing just a load of table and chairs in the lobby while people waited until 9.30pm to go outside to the amphitheatre for the evening show. Then once u were outside it was plastic cups which I totally understand for safety reasons but on the last night we were given paper party cups!!!!!! Not what I would expect from a 4* hotel??? Overall would I come back ? No. Not alot to see in this resort its really small you need to be in pefkos or lindos if u like it a bit busier Weather has been glorious all week! Well done princess sun you have a very clean hotel with some great staff.
