Nice place if you are satisfied with little
Perfect location, in Viale Ceccarini, one of the most popular street in Riccione. Just 5 min walking from the train station and 5 min walking from the beaches. Regarding the rooms: simple but clean. fornitures are really basic... Breakfast is simple, not a lot of choice. Staff is polite and friendly. So, it is a nice place if you are happy with little. For my friends and I was a good holiday.
Nice people , nice place !
Great location Clean rooms Small breakfast ok The most important : very good , friendly , helpfull staff ! They hotel have also a beautiful small terace at the first floor . Near the railway station , 15 minutes walking from the historical down-town center . If we came back to Napoli again we are going to stay for sure at Hotel Colombo .
Feel at home!
I can state that is the hotel with the best hospitality everyone can wish! I spend here only one day, but the owner was very friendly and kind! I think that respect to all the other expensive and formal hotels in Riccione, it is the right choice if you don't care about meaningless things suche as the coulurs of the bed, the shape of the desk, and so on.
Brilliant Hotel ! "Crazy" Varo !!
We stayed here in Sept this year for the Misano Motogp. Perfect position in Riccione for bars restaurants shops. The hotel is clean and the breakfast is great, it is a low cost hotel so don't expect the Ritz. For the money you really can't beat it. It is worth going if only to meet "crazy" Varo he is very very funny not to mention a gentleman. In fact all the staff were nothing but helpful and polite. We were upgraded to a balcony room foc which we were delighted with ! We will definitely be staying here again. Also you need to get the hotel menu for the Frankleys restaurant brilliant value for money and good food and wine, we paid 30 euros for 2 of us, 3 courses with wine water and coffee !!!
great location, average hotel
I had a very enjoyable stay here in June 2013. I booked a single and it was very compact. It did have everything I needed though, including a decent sized wetroom, single bed, wardrobe and a safe. The safe was an added bonus, even though it was a little on the small side. There was a TV, but nothing in English. The breakfast was pretty basic but decent enough although the drinks were from a machine. The hot water didn't seem to be hot enough for tea, but the coffee was okay once you'd mastered how to get it. When I arrived the staff on duty spoke a little English and we managed to muddle through. The cleaner lady (who's hungarian) spoke very good English. It looks like the hotel may be for sale. I was surprised at how much Riccione has deteriorated since my visit here 3 years ago. Businesses seem to be struggling a bit. The location is fabulous, close enough to walk to the train station with luggage, short walk to the beach and the shops and bars all around. That also means it can be a bit noisy. Take ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. All in all a good enough budget hotel and I'd have no hesitation in staying here again or recommending it to friends if the price is right.
