I have stayed at many Hamptons all over the country and never have I had such a poor experience. No hot water two mornings in a row, no apologies, no manager available either day. Hardly any staff, one poor kid to manage the desk, check out unhappy people who were either cold or dirty from no hot shower, and manage the breakfast. And speaking of breakfast, Hampton is usually solid. Here there was NO food available on Sunday morning. Hot pans were empty, no bagels, no muffins, not even a slice of bread to toast, no fruit. And nobody around to refill. The place is also in need of an update, it’s pretty shabby. All in all, very disappointing, don’t waste your money.

The Hampton Inn in Richfield was a pleasant overnight stay

Driving a truckload of belongings across the country is exhausting travel. I was glad for the pleasant accommodations at the Hampton Inn Richfield. The room was as clean as I expected, the breakfast was better than the usual motel fare, and I appreciated that the food servers in the kitchen were masked.

This hotel is disgusting! After reading the rest of the reviews AFTER my stay I feel like I must of had one of the better rooms??! First, the bathroom smelled like cat pee. It had mold in every corner, and a dirty wash cloth was resting on top of the shower curtain. The carpet was disgusting and there was NO WIFI! A network didn’t even come up when searching for available service. The lobby was very dirty. The only positive thing I can say is after checking I didn’t find any bedbugs. We stayed here after a concert at Blossom because it is only 20 minutes away. We should have driven another 20 minutes. Do not book this hotel thinking you will have a Hampton Inn experience it was more like a Motel 8 or worse. Honestly can’t believe they haven’t lost their franchise.

Terrible Service , no hot water or wifi and dirty

Hampton Inn Richfield, OH, I stayed at the Hampton Inn Richfield Ohio for two nights. June 9 – 11 During the stay there was no hot water! The front desk said it was because they were sold out. So are they are saying if the hotel is sold out, no one gets a hot shower for their entire stay? Multiple people were complaining to the desk about the lack of hot water. This is unacceptable. Also, during the stay there was no Wi-Fi available in the entire building and there was no ETA to have it back online. The front desk could not articulate what the problem was. Wi-Fi was needed in our party. T ethering to a mobile phone hotspot was necessary burning data/hotspot allotments. I was in room 310 and the amount of dust on the nightstand and counters was shocking. It is as if it hadn't been wiped down in a very long time. Because Covid is still running ramped it was obvious they were not cleaning properly to assist in the safety of their customers. The tub/shower was amateurly caulked and possibly leaked, but because of the lack of hot water during the stay, the shower wasn't event tried other than when running the water to see if it was hot yet. The hallway smelled of mold and dampness. Other patrons also commented to me how the hall smelled, and perhaps like rotting garbage. I called the manager Manesh and left a message with no response and contacted from the front desk multiple times and the only response was, please contact my manager and I am sorry. There was no compensation for having a dirty room, no hot water and no internet for the entire 2 day stay. This hotel is a disgrace to the Hilton family and I would not stay here again.

Rude Front Desk Staff that can't communicate

I stayed just one night in May 2022. Took 25+ minutes to check in. Once the front desk person (Barb) got off the phone for what seemed a personal call, she started checking me in. I have good hearing, and I could barely hear her speaking. Told her I was only staying one night instead of the two on the reservation. After spending 15 minutes on the computer, I eventually learned she was trying to refund me my points from my second night I was canceling. Oh...that would have been nice to know. Eventually she called my room to tell me I'd have to call Hilton to resolve the points. She was rather rude on the phone. After calling Hilton two days later, they opened a case file. A month later as I'm writing this (8 June), I still didn't have my points for the second night returned. I called Hilton again and they said it was because the hotel there (Richfield) still hadn't resolved what they needed to do on their end. Unbelievable.
