Do no do it

Avaliou em 26 de dezembro de 2022

Do not do it. If u are looking for a comfortable bed or a comfortable place to sit. This is not the hotel to book. The hotel is ten years old and so is the furniture. If u can get past the holes in the carpet and years of soil on the sofa it was clean. I think the staff does great with what the have to work with

Careless housekeeping, unresponsive management

Avaliou em 4 de novembro de 2022

We are Bonvoy gold members, we travel a lot, splitting our stays between Hilton and Marriott. I have two points to make on this review - 1 We found a previous guests gold sandals under the bed along with trash debris. Which makes me question housekeeping. The refrigerator wasn’t working but maintenance was quick to replace it. 2- We stayed here (two rooms) and were charged a $50 fee for housekeeping. I have spent a week making calls and the manager at this location refuses to return my call. One associate said it was a carpet stain and that they had pictures of it, but they refuse to send me the picture. We did not stain the carpet, we did however have a late checkout, so was this tagged on us in reality to pay their staff? Who knows because after 4 phone calls (I have been very nice and cordial) the manager is simply avoiding responding to me. (Not to mention the last time I called 3 days ago I was told in a snide tone “ma’am if you were told she will call you back then she will call you back” well that’s apparently not true.) I will only stay at Hilton from now on, Home2Suites in this area is awesome, their point system is better anyways. It’s truly sad the lack of communication, I really expected more from a Marriott manager.

Would Return

Avaliou em 30 de março de 2022

We chose TowneHouse Suites for a stop on our travels from St. Louis to Biloxi. Our room was clean and spacious and the beds were comfortable. We had a refrigerator with a freezer. A complimentary breakfast was provided. It was a bit sparse, probably due to Covid restrictions, but still adequate. We would consider this property during a return trip to Jackson.

Sewer Gas Smell in March 2022

Avaliou em 29 de março de 2022

There was a smell in our room and figured out it was a sewer gas smell. My wife has allergies and asthma, and she had an attack when we were there, and we had to leave after 2 days. The first floor smelled fine, but when we went to the 2nd and 3rd floosr there was a strong perful chemical smell which means they were obviously trying to cover up the sewer gas smell. It was awful! We were on the 3rd floor and since the gas smell was so strong, they offered us another room and the strong perfumy chemical smell in the second room was so strong, we left that room in 30 minutes and had to return to the first room. Then they had the audacity to charge us for a room we had to leave after 30 minutes! The gas smell in the hallway on the second floor near Room 209 where they put us was very strong. We also couldn't close the bathroom door in the first room on the 3rd floor as it seems the building has shifted forward on its foundation, which shows in the cracks in the walls and the sloping ceiling towards the water feature outside! I read the review on here that was done in 2014 when we got home and couldn't believe that this issue with the smell has not been resolved! Shame on the Kerioth Corporation who has the franchise on this Marriott for not taking care of this problem.

Wonderful place

Avaliou em 10 de setembro de 2021

We spent most of our Ida evacuation at TownePlace Suites. What a great home away from home. We loved the kitchen amenities - full fridge, cooktop, and dishwasher. Need something? They likely have it to lend, along with complimentary dish soap. There's a hot breakfast every morning. Laundry facilities. And it's located in this very pleasant planned community. The pond is a great place to walk your dog (did I mention they allow pets for a one-time fee!). There are restaurants and other services nearby. And the staff are so pleasant and helpful. This will become our evacuation location going forward. My family would insist that I share that the TV is a bit small for the large room. A minor inconvenience in my mind!
