Check in process was fast & courteous. Always ask for a renovated room in the main bldg . We stayed @ 2nd floor & the room was spot on clean. At arrival we tested the shower for pressure & temp. The water ran perfect & shower was hot within minutes. Beds are sort of soft & dated but comfy. The A/C worx fine but is very noisy. TV is small & channels selection is limited. Wifi is great. Mobile phone signal is sketchy depending the area u r situated. Pool is nice & well kept. Beach area is nothing to write your relatives about, but sunsets are epic. Rincon is a foodie/drinker's paradise. A quick search will yield plenty of choices. All in all this hotel is not a bad choice for the price.

My family and I have been coming to this hotel for 7 years now. Usually it is a very good experience, modest, but excellent environment/treatment. The last two years it has not been the same. I am staying in one of their apartment units as I type this and currently there has been electricity outages throughout the Island, which is understandable, but our apartment unit is currently in the dark with no lamps or anything to see with. We spoke to the front desk and an electrician came in for a few minutes in the afternoon. Turns out the transfer switch for our apartment is bad. We asked if there was another electrician for night shift or any emergency contacts. They said there was no one other personnel other than the one guy at front desk and the security guy. There wasn't even housekeeping personnel so we could have the option to transfer to another room with a functional transfer switch. Since we are in the middle of a pandemic, housekeeping and cleanliness is a must. Not to mention the risk of a short circuit happening while we are inside this apartment with the outages going on. Out of options, we sit here waiting for the general manager tomorrow morning so we can talk to them about the situation and leave the hotel without completing our planned stay. Sad situation, since the place has gorgeous nature, front desk on night shift did everything within their power to help us but sadly the situation was just unsafe.
Running on empty hotel

Worst experience ever... Was placed on a pool level room with mold and a humidifier that I had to empty several times a day! Mold was so bad that my wife had an asthma attack that required medical attention. We requested another room and, at least, was attended promptly and they changed us to another average and dated room. Hotel is on its last legs, there are so many repairs that have to happen to make this a decent hotel that is better to tear down and start from scratch. Staff have check-out so much that they can't even change pool side burnt light bulbs. You can tell owners have given up on the property maintenance. If you end up staying DO NOT eat there, worst food ever.... you are much better off eating out.
Traditionally I don't bother to even give reviews, good or bad, but this place has to be stopped. For the high price it was worse than a motel, do not go.

The fridge in the room didn’t work, the amenity that was ordered and payed was never delivered and didn’t even have the courtesy ta deliver it even after being notified, I had to ask for a refund. The room was not very clean, the furniture is old, dirty and not very pleasant. The room had no view whatsoever other than the parking lot and palm trees, the pool is only 3 feet deep, the staff is not well trained, phones did not work. I can say without a shade of doubt that this was the most unpleasant experience at a hotel we have had by far!! I would never recommend this place to any of my friends, or anyone for that matter. Stay away!! Find a better place with better service.

ZERO house-keeping (they blame COVID even though other hotels still have house-keeping), unusable Wifi (that resets every day and you have ask for new code), unresponsive front desk (just for fun, we timed one call took 30 mins of ringing before someone picked up). Our room has cockroaches running around when we went in.
Oh, you want new towels, since they aren't doing house-keeping? You gotta call front desk where no one picks up.
I have stayed at lots of sketchy hotels. Usually there's some redeemeable value (cheap price). This is the first time I am motivated to sign up for a TripAdvisor account to warn everyone to stay away from this hell hole.
