We needed a place to stay for one night. We were able to make last minute reservations and were very pleased with our stay. The room and hotel were very clean and crisp. We definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel staff was nice, and the room was clean. We had obnoxious tenants who were slamming doors and making noise all night, The smell of weed was in the hallway, I have left an email but have yet to get a response from hotel manager about refunding the night due to the hotel taking no action removing these obnoxious people. I was there to get my son goodnights sleep for his baseball tournament, so we did not have to commute to Ripon from San Francisco, needless to say we did not get any sleep. I still have not heard from the hotel manager about refunding the night. It is the least they can do. We stay 2 nights; the second night was much better. I also asked for my room to be cleaned in the morning after we left for the baseball tournament at 7 am. When we returned, we had not been serviced this was at 1pm. I then asked again when I took my son to go swim at the pool. We swam for a hour and returned to a dirty room. I again asked for maid service and my son and I had to wait in the lobby for over a hour until the room was cleaned.

My family was so happy with this place, Room was very clean, bed was so comfy, very quiet, bathroom very nice and clean. Breakfast was good, had lots of options. fast check in, and fast check out Love, love, love .

$200 Nightmare

This is probably the worst experience I've had at a hotel in a lifetime so far. It all started with the La Quinta Inn and Suites in Modesto/Salida. This is where my nightmare began. I got off work at 10:30, having booked my room earlier through a 3rd party thinking I was getting a great deal. However, I was wrong. By 2 am I still had not gotten to relax in the jacuzzi tub I had gotten that particular room for or been able to lock back in the room at all. 3 trips to r front desk and the girl working comes up and tries the door herself only to find that it won't unlock. So after trying to work something out for about an hour or so we get sent to the other La Quinta in Ripon. Not the better hotel of the 2 I will tell you. Here I got none of the customer appreciation I was given at the first when I finally got to complimentary hot breakfast after having to take my boyfriend to work putting us almost an hour behind being the room hotel was farther away than Salida, I got for cereal and an English muffin with margarine because the lady in charge of the food had already put everything away at 8 am well 7:56 to be exact. So when all is said and done my quick little getaway to relax with my honey was turned into 2.5 hrs of sleep no jacuzzi tub nor a hot breakfast and no relaxation ended up costing me$200+ and I can even get the manager to give me a better price than full price for another night. The only employee worth recognizing is Christie the night time front desk girl.

Great Experience

We just needed 1 night for a tournament. Even though it's like a pit stop hotel, it surpassed our expectations. We were actually upgraded to a family suite at no charge because of booking issues. We didn't mind. The room was nice and spacious. The thing I appreciated the most was the peace and quiet. I am sensitive to noise. There was no noise, I heard nothing. I would stay there again.
