It's a really little classic French hotel, which means for some people it'd not be very confortable. But if you like this typical oldness, it'd works! I actually could felt the history of this area of Rouen. Also this hotel is placed in a very good location. You can go to the Art Museum in 2 minutes, to the train station in like 6 minutes.

My family and I stopped here overnight to satisfy a curiosity as we've never been to this town. The town was lovely. This hotel was cheap, but very run down. 5 minutes before check-out time, we were packed, door open to our room, standing and discussing where to go for breakfast. The owner barged in and just aggressively shouted "get out right now!" I thought this was some kind of joke. As we all left the building, I pointed out to the owner, that we were guest's at his hotel, we were still within check-out time, and his attitude was very hostile. He started shouting at me, and he started to display to me some of his kung-fu poses. Not very impressive, I tried to give him a few tips regarding balance and posture. To be fair, he put quit a good effort into the chopping motion, but the style needed tweaking. Ive studied martial arts myself, and I thought that we could perhaps bond over a discussion about the appropriate occasion to use said skills. It turns out that his gentleman didn't feel very much like bonding, and his preying mantis pose escalated to a hop and chop simultaneously while growling. I respect the effort, I really do. I was quite impressed actually. Well impressed with his commitment, his style left much to be desired. Things amusingly escalated to his need to call his fellow Algerian brethren, and a description as to how things are dealt with in his home country. Stone throwing, and talk about use of sharp swords. Well it was extremely enlightening, I honestly didn't know how Algerian people dealt with people who get ready slowly. I didn't stop laughing for a very long time. Great entertainment, although I won't be returning.
