Horrible treatment by hotel receptionist.

Do not stay here unless you are French speaking. Me and my family confirmed our booking at 5pm Aug 8th with reception who assured us there is 24/7 check in. When we arrived a very arrogant receptionist, a young man with long brown hair said he "doubted" I had spoke to someone because he "didn't think I could". He told us to go somewhere else as we had "no showed" even though they assured us of 24/7 check in. Thanks to hotel Albert me and my family were put in a dangerous situation with no where else able to accommodate us. Shame on this boy, we are all Canadians and even if we weren't this is NO WAY TO TREAT ANOTHER HUMAN BEING. We may take legal action and/or get the media involved, I don't want this happening to anyone else. The hotel is investigating this matter and I will update the review if/when an apology is issued by management but so far nothing. BE WARNED!!!

Could not sleep - noise from heating unit

In reality, this is not quite a 3/5, more of a 2.5. Easy reservation online, easy check-in. Plenty of free parking, outside, on premise. The room is clean (not fancy). The beds are comfortable; pillows are okay. Little fridge and microwave are nice. Grooming products are lovely - I loved the dispensing cans in the shower (eco-friendly). The problem, the big problem, is with the heating unit. It creates quite a loud racket when on! Every 20 minutes, it comes on, and it constantly wakes you up from your sleep. I can’t sleep with ear-plugs, therefore, this was not a restful night.

Best hotel in Rouyn Noranda !

This hotel has a classy "boutique feel", renovated/modern, great service and what an amazing FREE breakfast, one of the best ever. The staff are very warm and friendly. For lunch or dinner, try "Pizze" a couple of minutes walk from the hotel, amazing food, service and pricepoint.

Breakfast was delicious, great choices! The waitress that served us coffee was very welcoming with "Hola". Her approach was very professional. Her name is Yiaris, originally from Cuba. We just loved chatting with her. She is very sociable, polite, there exactly when we needed her. And she even made a paper rose for me. What a great, unexpected gesture! She has surpassed our expectations. THANK YOU to the restaurant of Best Western Plus Hotel Albert.

Got there late evening absolutely exhausted and just wanting a good night rest right away. We asked the person at the front desk for a King sized bed, he told us the price and I made sure to ask if the price was for a King sized bed. We were told it was. We went up to our room, and it was a Queen bed. We were pretty disappointed considering the price paid for the room. We travel a lot and were floored at how much we had paid and didn't get what we had asked for. We had called to see if the room could be changed and were told they couldn't. The parking was a huge pain, we got stuck in one of the parking lots and overall were just very exhausted of everything.
