Hotel itself and location is beautiful, but ‼️‼️‼️ It’s extremely expensive and no service at all! It’s like 2 stars hotels service there. Stuff 90% doesn’t speak any English and seems like they only came from some village with no simple cultural manners. One waitress she was so rude! She almost threw food and tea cups in our faces! And when we asked another waiter to bring half of our bottle of wine to our room,he says it’s 9 shekels 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️We have no problem to pay this 9 and more shekels, but listen! We paid 10K for 2 days we got nothing! Also they don’t clean properly at all! Terrible. Yes,food was good and view also. That’s it 🤷🏼♀️also adventure that kids are not allowed also helpful. And they have very good SPA 🧖🏼♀️ 👍🏽At least that...But for this money they take, especially during this pandemic time, they have to serve customers ways ways better! It’s a shame! And for sure I’ll never recommend this place to non of my friends and We will never get back there myself 😬 Who knows, maybe one day Israelis will learn how to serve their customers well for this huge money they take from us 🤷🏼♀️🙏🏽but I’m not sure it will happen soon 🤷🏼♀️
Pleasant in difficult times
Coming out of confinement and looking to tour north of israel we choses the newly renovated addition of isrotel. although not all facitlities were available due to the situation we appreciated the choice and especially the service which was clearly at the high end what you can expect in israel . the hotel is still in start up mode and no decent offering of a bar or in-between food is available yet. the hotel made all efforts to be in line with the conditions imposed by the authorities to comply to the health issues, however like anywhere the issue is more with the discipline of the guests. the pool and recreation area seem to be to small when the hotel is full and does not take advantage of the vast landscape it is situated on.
There are better Isrotel Exclusive hotels
The hotel is one of Isrotel's Exclusive series hotels. Its main plus is its rarity as being one of very few real 5-star hotels in Northern Israel. The views from the hotel are incredible - the Hulah Valley, Mount Hermon and the Sea of Galilee. Isrotel did a lot of refurbishing on the property once it took it over a few years ago. Having said that, the hotel is a league below the Bereshit hotel in Mitzpe Ramon and is inferior to Ye-arot Hacarmel on Mount Carmel in nearly every aspect - room quality, food, views and the pool (for Israelis living in Central Israel also the distance from the Tel-Aviv metropolitan area. I thought that the dinner at the hotel's Fish/ Dairy restaurant was mediocre. Breakfast was decent, other than the fact that the coffee served at breakfast was terrible, and would fit a 3-Star hotel. The service in both meals was very slow. To the hotel's credit I will say that the staff was extremely friendly, much more than what I'm used to in Israel hotels. As far as my wife and I were concerned, we would rather stay at the other Exclusive Isrotel hotels.
