O hotel não fica cerca de 12 km do centro de Annecy. As acomodações são bem espaçosas, com camas agradáveis e aquecedor. Há uma grande área verde e fica próximo do Lago de Annecy. O atendimento é cordial, wi-fi grátis e café-da-manhã pago. Recomendo.

A very enjoyable weekend

Mme was tasked with finding the venue for this golfing weekend and it was a pretty good choice. Decent hotels around the Lake book up quickly summer weekends and we were struggling to find a room in Talloires which is where we usually go. We did have a mountain view room, which as others have noted is next to a busy road and the room was warm at night. We did sleep reasonably despite having the windows open. The room was a decent size although the table is sacrificed in the corner and there is not room for bedside tables. All the staff were welcoming and friendly especially at the restaurant. We had both lunch and dinner at the restaurant which was full, many local families appear to come for special events which has to be a good recommendation. The food was innovative and enjoyable apart from the cold chickpea mousseline with the guinea fowl which didn't work - at all. We took time to enjoy the beach and also rented the bikes to cycle down the bike path into Annecy which takes about an hour. Much preferred to another Lake Annecy traffic jam!! Code: DNWP&UFNQSAW

Lovely family holiday

Not luxurious, but for a family retreat with friends it was fantastic. The resort has absolutely breathtaking mountain views. It's a short walk from Lake Annecy (with a fabulous cycle path - bikes for hire on site), and has a great swimming pool (no lifeguard). The food is plentiful and all-inclusive - 3-course meals for lunch and dinner with gorgeous French cheeses, wine, and to-die-for gelato. Holiday activities such as the kids' club offered by the resort staff were of course all in French, and some of the staff spoke no English. Our English-speaking retreat group were left to ourselves, though welcomed to join in activities like pool aerobics. Reception staff spoke English. The meeting marques were sufficient for our needs. Highly recommend spending a few nights in the Vieille Ville (old city) of the town of Annecy while you're in the area.

Disappointing, at least in its current state

I spent 3 nights at the pre du lac in August, at a workshop being held here at the tail end of the summer season. This holiday village unfortunately suffered a fire in June which totally destroyed the large block housing the restaurant, bar, meeting and activity rooms. They bravely traded on by setting up large tents housing these facilities, and the website suggests it is 'business as usual' but I really felt the arrangement was barely adequate. Part of the site is still dominated by a fenced off burnt out wreck of a building which is untouched since the fire. My room was in a block just behind. The bar tent was pretty depressing as the only place to relax in the evening. The bedrooms are in chalet-like blocks of about fifteen rooms. They have been recently renovated with new furniture,decor, flat screen tv, bathroom fittings so the room itself was fine and functional but the main problem was that my room had an interconnecting door and the sound insulation was terrible. I was woken up every morning by my neighbour's alarm set half an hour early than mine and could hear all his ablutions, his every step around his room, etc. The room was poorly cleaned on arrival and there was no housekeeping at all during my stay. The food was at the level of French work canteens and served buffet style: some meals were reasonably tasty but others very unappealing and there was nothing to get too excited about. Internet access was extremely limited. On the plus side, the staff were very helpful, there was a large pool and bikes for hire, the lake and mountains were beautiful and there were great walks and bicycle paths nearby. Overall, though, a disappointment.
