Difficult to Locate

Adding a few days prior to our week vacation, we booked this well in advance hoping to see and experience a different aspect/area of the island, well we sure did. Very difficult to locate during the day, phone GPS was not helpful. The home was messy, while the room was nice yet not so clean. When trying to remember and use landmarks to get back at night after going to the Seaport Village, was a horrible experience. Packs of dogs charging the rental car 3 separate times, and a security car whom we tried to get it’s attention, just sped away. After much time, we luckily found it again. The local dogs barking throughout the night was the final straw. We left the next morning and booked another room closer to civilization for the other two nights. The people at the B&B were nice and the breakfast was great. I felt obligated to pay the other two nights because they may have been able to rent the room from when we booked it. If you plan on a vacation not to go to far from this B&B or plan to use a taxi to get around, while ignoring the sloppiness, this place will be OK for you.

Fuego Mio is a great B&B in the quiet and peaceful St. Cruz, close to Arikok NP. The house is airy and clean, the rooms contain everything you need and the pool and deck give you refreshment from the sun. The owner Ingrid is a gracious and kind person and she will try to make your stay feel like home, since everything is negotiable. Her breakfast are extraordinary and very well prepared. So if you look for a place to stay, away from tourism with a true arubian feel were you are spoiled with great food, go visit Fuego Mio.

Ingrid is a wonderful hostess & makes an amazing breakfast. I have stayed at fuego mio twice now & plan to return. Ingrid is a wealth of information ,always smiling & makes you feel at home. Fuego mio is only a few minutes walk from arikok park . Fuego mio is a very quiet & peaceful place. True arubian feel.marie

The owner Ingrid is a joy. She is gracious, kind and fun. Her food is EXTRAORDINARY! Be it breakfast, lunch or dinner the food is some of the best in Aruba. Her B+B is a lovely change from the resort areas and the perfect spot to explore Arikok Park. It is a great way to experience Aruba in a more authentic way. The nearby pizza restaurant has some of the best pizza ever. If you want more from Aruba than casinos and beach - Ingrid’s spot is just what the doctor ordered.

Ingrid's Bed&Breakfast in Aruba was wonderful. The property was clean and well-taken care of with a gorgeous pool and veranda to sit and relax. The living space was great: comfortable and well designed. This house is also very close to Arikok Nationalpark where we did a morning hike to the Natural Pool. The breakfast is outstanding and we had one night dinner; Ingrid cooked delicious Indonesian food, my husband said that were the best food on the island. If you want a quiet time - away from the tourism - come here and enjoy the tranquility, and the beauty of the nature. We would have loved to stay longer!
