Not boutique but great staff

This hotel is NOT what boutique hotels usually are or at least what they are expected to be. It was dirty, did not have a parking lot and the breakfast is served elsewhere. However, the staff is very nice. The price is affordable but you’d expect something else.
If this is a boutique hotel then I am a German shepherd... (no offense to German shepherd dogs)

... Terrible at best. The bathroom and toilet very dingy and smelly.
Everything inside the room was disgusting. Had I not been so tired and worn out (I stayed at the Hospital for 8 hours while my partner was operated) I would have just left.
Dark room. Talking about dingy, so is the night receptionist.
Very very noisy. I came in at around 11 PM and up until 12:30 there were loud noises in the front (same floor). Talking, screeching doors, etc.
Internet did not work.
Everything everything was sub par.. look if you just want a cheap stay and are not bothered about EVERYTHING (bathroom, linen, towels, noise, smell, etc.) then by all means stay here.
If your expectations are slightly higher, book a different place. Pronto!!
Comfortable and quiet

The Lit 13 is located on a narrow and consequently quiet street not far from Queretaro's beautiful central park. The rooms are quite small, but overall, the hotel has a "boutique" sensibility. The rooms all face a central covered atrium, so the interior of the building receives daylight most of the day. The hotel is very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The bed in my room was very comfortable and the linens were very good quality for Latin America. There was plenty of hot water for a nice shower. A simple breakfast of coffee, fruit, bread, yogurt and honey is included in the very reasonable price for a room.
Boutique hotel..? More like a posada at most...!

Hello all.. sorry had to share what I believe to be a disgrace to the fine name of "Boutique" in the hotel business.. I am a Arquitecture and Interior photographer and have shot fine hotels in 5 countries so I know quality. To include Boutique in the name of this hotel is a bad joke.. Here in my room I have a 20dollar table, a 20dollar chair, the thinnest doors I have ever seen so can hear everything that is said below in the courtyard and a dirty bathroom.. And oh 2 of the 5 bulbs are working.. Not a trace of design or quality to be found anywhere here except a medium bed. Very happy someone paid this room for me so I wouldn't have gone nuts over my own bad choice..
excellent location and very friendly staff

I stayed here with two friends for two nights. We got an excellent deal and--especially in light of the negative reviews as of late--were pleasantly surprised. The location is unbeatable unless one is willing to pay four times as much for one of the premier hotels nearby. Within five minutes one is in the very heart of Queretaro. The rooms are spacious (not sure what happened to the earlier reviewer in this regard) and clean and have firm mattresses, and there's a fantastic rooftop terrace that's open 24 hours. The staff--in particular the daytime female receptionist--are courteous and proactive. Their English is very limited, but they were creative and used an online translation program to communicate. Overall, this is a very nice boutique B&B that I can recommend strongly.
