Not very welcoming upon arrival. Confusing when reception is on second floor. Maybe this is the concept for this type of hotel but very confusing for guests on arrival. Uncomfortable beds and pillows take you own pillow from home. Room is well equipped with kitchen stuff if you stay for awhile. Not necessary for a few days. Receptionist was of no help for local food eateries. Ordered pizza from local pizzeria and totally disappointed - a greasy mess. I will not stay at another Home2 Suites - ever!!

We've only stayed at Hilton properties around the country for about 5 years. This stay was less than usual. Nothing that ruined our vacation but still disappointing. 1. We made our reservation nine months ahead of our visit. 2. We called two weeks ahead and requested a room on the bottom floor because we travel with senior dogs. The person never mentioned that wasn't possible because the bottom floor is parking. 3. Then our room wasn't available when we arrived. The room they sent us to 20 minutes later was on the 3rd floor (really the 4th floor) as far away from the elevators as possible. We asked for a room closer to elevators and they said it would be more money. Apparently, a smaller room with a King size is more desired (thus, more costly) than a larger room with two Queen size beds. This is not logical to me. It must just be supply/demand. 4. As Gold Hilton Honors members, we usually receive two bottles of water upon check-in. Not this time. 5. There is always been USA Today newspapers every morning in the lobby. Not this hotel. 6. There are no great places to walk the dogs. At check in, they did not tell us where the "Dog Pit Stops" were. And the doggie bag stations are not on the closest grassy areas by the exit doors. This made it a little difficult to clean up after the dogs; as seen by the many unpicked up poop everywhere. 7. Parking was an issue a couple of times. They were obviously at full capacity. But shouldn't they have at least one parking spot for each room??? 8. Breakfast was very decent most mornings. One morning they didn't have much but it seemed like it might not have been their fault; they didn't receive their shipment. I would recommend that they have labels or better labels on things. I didn't learn until the final day that some of the ready made omelets had meat in them.

Not so new..new property

This wasn't the best Home2 Suites that I have stayed. Home2 is usually my go to hotel. Room door took a lot of manipulating to get it to lock. Lighting in the bathroom required flipping a switch in the room and then turning the switch on in the bathroom. Elevator was missing buttons. Plus side is that it was close to a lot of the attractions.

The elevator to the main level was weird but it provided more parking spaces. All of the kitchen appliances were very nice and the night light in the bathroom was an inexpensive logical touch and much appreciated!

We stayed one night here to attend our daughter's college graduation. The cleanliness of our room left much to be desired. Specifically the bathroom was disgusting and after requesting cleaning products from the front desk, I cleaned it myself. There was hair on the shower walls, on the back of the toilet, and all over the floor. There was dried urine on the toilet seat along with more hair and dust. I couldn't believe this was a Hilton hotel. I called down to the desk to report the problem and to ask for products to clean with. My husband and I cleaned the bathroom so that us and our children could shower and use the toilet. This was easily the worst stay I've ever had with Hilton. I was extremely disappointed and hesitant to stay again should the need arise.
