Nice hotel with a great restaurant ! Ideal escape form the city

Very nice hotel with very friendly personnel. Room incl. bathroom is nice and clean. When you visite, make sure to reserve in the restaurant for a great and refined dinner. We asked for accompagning wines with each course. This was possible but quite expensive. They said the will look into a formula for future clients. The breakfast was again superb !

Wonderful hotel room but disappointing dinner due to slow COVID ramp up

Great reception and hotel room, recently refurbished, very friendly staff, great menu proposal and chef. Dinner at the restaurant on the 19th of June was quite disappointing. It started greatly since we were one of the first table to arrive. Step by step more and more guests arrived, too many, considering the amount of people in the service and later on we were informed that even less people did run the production, even with a set menu. From the other side I understand that a ramp up, after many months of closure is not evident.

Beautiful place

Beautiful, very up to date place with lots of tasteful design elements throughout the property. We had a gorgeous suite, which had nothing to wish for. Terraces and seats all over the place. Nice restaurant, solid cuisine. Lovely staff! Only small remark: wines by the glass are really too expensive. Great place for a stopover, but we could easily spend here a much longer time as well.

Amazing Service and Food

We arrived in the late afternoon and a very nice and friendly host welcomed us. We enjoyed a beautiful bottle of cremant on our terrace. Dinner was served in our beautiful room due to covid but it was AMAZING organized. ...in-room dining with the feeling of a high class restaurant! All courses were fresh with products from the region and pairing wines. They open almost EVERY WINE by glass due to a special system which conserves the wines. Really a fantastic place to stay. Super friendly, high class food, excellent wines and really really reasonable prices!!! ...and very good French breakfast 👏👏👏 Merci beaucoup!!!

This boutique hotel is perfectly settled in an idyllic, authentic wine village, known for its historical vineyards, deemed to have theological qualities by Popes and Cistercians, to keep death at bay! Gastronomy and Art combined, everything reflects the love and hard work the owner and chef Christophe invests into his establishment and his food. Each plate was a delight for both eyes and mouth, with an emphasis on natural flavors of the freshest regional produce used for his creations. The wine card left nothing to be desired and a sommelier helped us make the perfect choice to accompany our 5 course dinner. All rooms are named after famous vineyards in Burgundy, stylishly chic, spacious, with all the necessities of comfort. The hotel has only been open for 3 months, after vast renovations. They are still working to improve certain areas, like the sun terrace, and therefore not all is perfect, but it will only make it better. Hôtel L’Ouvrée and its restaurant 428 (love the meaning of its name) was the last stop of our 2 week summer vacation and it has offered us a very pleasurable ending. We will definitely be back!
