Savasi Island Resort is something else. If you want to experience true Fijian hospitality in an upscale, beautiful, high-end environment, this is your place. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet, the breathtaking landscapes, the dolphins jumping around while we were having breakfast, the tasty food and cocktails and the big Bula smiles :-) We'll be back, for sure.

Our villa was wonderful, so easy to stroll down for a delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner that was prepared by fantastic chefs and served by such wonderful staff, the choice of meals was always a highlight in the morning with extensive varieties on offer every day. Would thoroughly recommend Savasi Island Resort to anyone who wants to be pampered for a while.

Best resort we've ever been too!

This was exactly what we wanted. Privacy and pampering. The villas are beautiful. We stayed in Clifftop 3. The shower was amazing and the pool was the perfect chilly temp for the very hot days. The staff was absolutely the best. They were all so friendly and went out of their way to make you feel at home. The food.....omg the food. I am a picky eater so I really went out of my comfort zone here and it was the best I've eaten. So clean and fresh. The resort is fun just to explore alone without all the activities they offer. So many paths that lead to different areas of the beach. This was by far my favorite vacation I've ever taken. We will definitely be back. I should add....we went to the mainland and stayed at the Hilton for our last 3 days of vacation and we hated it compared to Savasi. Had we went there first we may not have hated it. Savasi definitely will be impossible to beat. Wish we didn't live so far away lol.

Quiet, peaceful

We stayed at Savasi Resort for 4 nights as the start of an extended journey in Australia and NZ. It was the perfect place to reset our internal clocks. We stayed on Serenity which is the boat. It has been permanently moved to land and outfitted with five guest suites. It was quite comfortable. This is a quiet resort but there is plenty to do if you choose: snorkeling, visits to other parts of the island, diving, fishing, hiking, a great spa (we did a couples massage and pedicures), etc. But it is not a place where you are entertained for the sake of being entertained. So if what you really want is to lounge around and do nothing, this is also perfect here. The food was outstanding. We did find that our palates needed/wanted a bit more salt but that’s an easy fix. Each day the lunch and dinner menu changed, so you chose at breakfast each morning what you wanted for lunch and dinner. The fish dishes were stunning. We are from the heartland of the USA, so when I say I had one of the most perfect steaks I’ve ever had, you can be assured it was. Best part of our stay however was the staff at Savasi. They were kind and accommodating, and often quite funny. They answered questions and were very helpful. We visited the Resort garden which was very interesting.

Fiji has always beckoned as a exotic tropical dream destination. We arrived as strangers and were welcomed as family. Ma and her incredible staff made our 4 day stay incomparable. We were met at the Savusavu airport early in the morning then arrived to traditional music and singing. Then breakfast on a beautiful outdoor deck over the lapping waves. The dining area and all of the villas and rooms are located with a beautiful sense of privacy without isolation. The tropical vegetation was lovely. We had booked one of the cliffside villas which all have a private pool in front overlooking the ocean and a stunning sunset view. The food at every meal was amazing and included fruits and vegetables from their own organic garden, which you can tour. There were a variety of outside activities available daily right from the resort. We loved split rock for snorkeling, the salt lake kayaking and then scuba with Colin at Korosun island dive company. January was monsoon season with afternoon and evening showers but that did not detract at all from one of the most beautiful places we have visited. We bid a sad farewell- again with a serenade from the staff, and cannot wait to go back for a “family” reunion. Vinacka
