Great Traveller Hotel

I was at Hotel mid December 2019 for three days for a business trip. The roses were still blooming outside the front door. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Beds are firm, but very comfy for a good night's sleep. Fresh chocolate croissants every morning for breakfast is a welcome treat. Most of the staff that interacts with customers are able to speak English, which was nice. Hotel restaurant provides good meals inhouse, but if you need to visit the golden arches, they are basically across the street, 5 minute walk. Also hotel is 5 minute walk from downtown Scionzier.
Nice hotel, recommended!

The hotel is easily accessible, big parking place. The hotel restaurant is unfortunately closed Friday evening and at the weekends, but you have some restaurants around.
Staff is super nice and very friendly, ready to help you with everything, everybody being so nice with our child. The breakfast choice is sufficient. The swimming pool is just great, nice touch to your hotel stay, we enjoyed that very much.
The hotel room is big, but would definitely use some refurbishment (especially the bathrooms).
Overall, very nice and pleasant stay, would definitely come back again.

In looking for a place to stay having driven down from nearby Flaine Ski resort this place is well placed for the motorway (A4), reasonably priced diesel and has all the amenities needed. We were a little unsure to turn up to a place which looked at first to be closed however were in within minutes. Plenty of free parking, mountain views and a queen size bed a man my size could get lost in. A nice simple buffet breakfast the next morning completed the experience.
Great short stay hotel

We booked this hotel last minute for a 1 night stay as we came down from the mountains.
We were a little apprehensive when we arrived on Sunday evening to find a hotel with gate closed and no one in the car park however we found out the hotel opens at 6pm on Sunday eve so luckily only had to wait 10mins before staff arrived to open the gate and the hotel.
Staff were really friendly and the inside of the hotel is very warm and welcoming (outside makes it look a little dated).
Room was a reasonable size, good size bathroom, all clean and tidy and good facilities within room. We paid extra for Queen size bed which was two mattresses together.
No restaurant available on a Sunday eve however a list of nearby restaurants were provided and found a great french restaurant nearby!
Breakfast was extra euros, set in a nice restaurant overlooking their pool (accessible Summer months) and mountain views. It was a help yourself buffet of fruit, croissants and cereals with fruit juice and tea/coffee.

Stayed here for 3 nights when our car broke down. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room clean and comfortable breakfast included a good variety of fruit croissant bread meat cheese and yoghurt. We ate on the resteraunt on one evening and the food was excellent it is a shame it was not open over the weekend.
