The worst hotel experience ever!

Please, if you are reading this and thinking about staying here... think again.
We have actually checked in today. I have heard some noises somewhere around the room and thought that the noises is not being controlled... I got a phone call at 9:13 pm from front desk. He said he got complaint from the room around me. Said that my child who was only watching the tv on the bed is making noises. I told him that the sound is not from my son and that I can also hear the sound from other rooms.
After I hung up, I was getting more upset since the hotel is blaming us for making noises- we were simply watching tv(volume was set as 3) did nothing else. Oh yes, we laughed.... And plus, it was only 9 pm. Who complains about the noise around 8~9 pm? If you are that sensitive, you should just stay home. Or maybe its just how the building was built... thats the problem.
The manager came to our room to apologize with some fruits, I did not accept that since it is not going to make me feel better.
Main problem of this building is the noise and there is nothing around here. Not even a small convenient store. Coffee costs like 11000 won(10 dollars) which is ridiculous. The service and the quality is definitely not 5 star... dont expect the 5 star quality service and stay here.
Great stay at the WE Hotel

We stayed at the WE hotel in June 2019 for 5 nights. We hired a car in Jeju for getting around and I recommend this also because it’s really nice to discover and enjoy Jeju at your own pace. If you don’t rent a car arrange a airport pickup because this hotel is tucked away in nature. Arrival and check in was fast and the reception was friendly and could speak good English. Pool and jacuzzi was nice (don’t forget to pack a swimming cap) and very clean. Nice room and comfortable bed with a great view of mount Hallasan. We didn’t had breakfast included so I can’t tell you about this but we had diner one time in the Hotel and that was very tasty. If you like a quiet, comfortable and clean Hotel don’t look any further!

산속의 인적이 드문 그냥즐길수 있는 산속의 호텔..
외부로 일정이 많으면 방문 가능하나 1ㅕㄹ 잇점은 없음. 영실로 가는 길목에 있어서 산행을 원하면 차로 15분거리에 있음
It's not good for ....
Just stay and not convenient

This is our 3rd stay at THE WE HOTEL, Jeju. And it was my wife's birthday celebration trip.
We love this hotel due to it's unique & solid concept, the most peaceful resort and where you can have restful stay.
However, it was bit disappointing this time.
Check-in date was my wife's birthday, and we have informed about this upon reservation stage as well.
The receptionist mentioned "happy birthday" at the check-in counter, however there was no small amenities in the room. And of course, there was no "welcome back" recognition much. As a 5 star hotel, it is quite common to expect any small amenities for a special occasions.
But, still we love this place so much.
We cannot find any other hotel/resort in Jeju like "WE HOTEL".
And since new GM came to the hotel, hope the overall service & experience will be improved.
Bellman & Concierge were all nice & friendly.
Bartender "양희진" was super nice guy. He is so professional and provide the best service. Most of all, he makes the best cocktails (one of the best Mojito ever I tried!)
If you stay this resort, you must try the Spa.
The new Spa team leader "강수경" made the whole spa experience up to the next level. I will definitely come back to this place, 'cos of her.
The hotel has upgraded their Gardens & Forests. There are 3 ponds which we didn't see before. Please take your time and walk on the forests. It's total healing experience.

We spent 2 nights in a corner (or parlor) suite (room 310). We were looking for a hotel close to the Hallasan mountain for hiking. We did not rent a car and knowing the hotel is quite isolated we were depending upon taxis for everything.
The WE hotel is not the typical hotel you can find on the sea side. It mixes a hotel and a “hospital” where you can have treatments and consultation with physicians. As tourists it can be disconcerting especially when you just look for usual hotel services. But the hotel staff has always been there to help us feel comfortable and find solutions to our demands.
Spacious and quiet room with beautiful view on the sea and nature,
The concierge Sally Moon who was very helpful during our stay. Helping us with preparing our hike, finding massages outside of the hotel.
The service when the hotel came to pick us up after our hike because there was no taxi available.
Due to the size of the hotel and the limited number of guests we got the feeling we were almost the only guests of the hotel.
One of the two restaurants and the outside pool were closed.
The access to the swimming pool requires a cap. Without one you are proposed to buy one otherwise no access. For this level of hotel you would expect this to be a complementary service.
The bedroom was mixing several styles which was not the best idea.
