1. Value for money. Self service but you wont be needing staff to carry your baggage. Very convenient. 2. Clean facilities (everyday our room is cleaned and towels, water, cups are replaced. No need to inform the staff) 3. English speaking staff at reception, very accommodating too. Asked them to book our airport transfer and i was booked right away. 4. Jongno-gu is a very beautiful place, historical and surrounded by palaces. There are convenience stores nearby and many restaurants too. 5. Rooms are spacious and well heated. Our visit in Korea is the coldest so far.

Convenient for conference at University Hospital

Second time I have stayed here. It is pretty convenient for two rail routes into the main station and adjacent to an airport bus route. Hotel is welcoming with decent rooms and good service. Breakfast is served with a large variety of food to account for cultural tastes. There is no restaurant so plan to go our for dinner.

Best hotel in Jongro

Stayed here couple of times for a family visit and visiting friends. The facility is immaculate and pristine. Cant really complain. showers are spacious and they offer towels and cleaning service at scheduled times every day. What I love most about the rooms are lighting and temperature system and the bed as well. The bed is so comfy Employees are kind and welcoming.

Highly recommended hotel in Seoul!

We spent two nights in a twin-bed room. Impressed with the unparalleled hospitality experience and facilities. The room was very comfy, clean, and well maintained. Also the breakfast was excellent and the staffs were very polite. Will definitely recommend this hotel to all our friends and hope to stay again at Mayplace when we have chance.

I stayed at May Place hotel for several days in a twin bedroom, and I would recommend this hotel to my friends or anyone who is planning to visit Seoul. This place is located conveniently nearby the palaces of Seoul. It is also a couple bus stops away from Insadong as well. If you are looking to visit palaces in Seoul (yes, there are more than one palace in Seoul) then this is the place to lodge. Furthermore, with Seoul housing prices going berserk, this hotel offers a clean and luxurious experience for a reasonable price. If you are debating between other hotels nearby, like I did, then go with this one and you wont regret it.
