A return after a few years absence

This is a basic motel with some nice features. You really can’t beat the price. We like to stay here while visiting friends in Sequim but haven’t been here since precovid days. Checkin was quick and easy with friendly staff. Rooms are clean and well maintained, the bathrooms are nice and seem fairly newish. The king bed was comfortable and there were also three chairs in the room that were better quality than most places at this price range. This was the first time we stayed here in winter and we found the wall heater to be somewhat noisy at times. We turned it down as low a temp as we could to minimize. On our previous visit there was a very nice park-like grassy area right out side our room, this time the grass was gone, buried under a layer of crushed gravel that came right to the edge of the patio, not very inviting for sure. It looked like it was being prepared for paving over but was left unfinished. The grass was much nicer. There’s a nice breakfast cafe just a couple of blocks down (Mariner Cafe) that is much improved since our last visit. Seems to be a great hangout for locals now with decent prices and friendly staff. Will gladly return here on our next visit.

We have stayed here many times over the last two years. It is always clean and comfortable - very good quality lodging for the price. My kids like the big TV with many channels and the vending machine! The staff are very kind.

Great base for exploring

My husband and I stayed here for three nights in a One King Executive room. We were in the back building on the second floor, which was quiet, and it gave us a small view of the mountains so we could tell what the weather was doing. The room was clean and spacious. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We found the location to be good for exploring between Sequim and Lake Crescent.

Room was clean, but there were holes in the bed skirt and the curtains. Don't try to take a shower in the morning. Water goes from barley warm to cold with no water pressure. We stayed for two nights. When we left, I forgot a bag in the dresser. I have cancer and my medical marijuana was in the bag. I called Friday when I got home. The gentleman who answered the phone said he would go to the room and see if it was there. It wasn't. I called in the morning and was told she would talk to housekeeping. They said they didn't see it. Funny, we left before 8:00 and they came in after that. I'm on Social Security and These were my meds and I had to borrow money to replenish some of the things in the bag. Shame on you! Oh,and there's no way to get in touch with the owners to tell them about their staff. I realize that they aren't responsible for anything forgotten, but they didn't turn it in. Nice trip was ruined.

Excellent Everything!

We needed a hotel in Sequim after driving from Arizona to catch an early morning Coho ferry from Port Angeles to Victoria BC the next day. Our room in the Annex was perfect! Clean, well laid out, new, nice area, great price, comfy bed, great shower plus a bathtub (which I need), excellent staff, and the first hotel in our return trip that had a tall toilet! Highly recommend - we will stay here again! And Sequim is a nice little town, only 25 minutes from the ferry terminal; so much better than Port Angeles.
