Propriedade bonita com muito verde. Piscina, parquinho, mini golf, pedalinho, parque aquático e dependencias muito bem cuidada. O ponto ruim foi o WiFi nos apartamentos. Precisa funcionar urgente. Para conseguir trabalhar online, precisava ir no prédio da recepção.

We were using up points at the Fox River Resort. We didn't want to haul all of our stuff up stairs, we chose a walk-in unit. Big mistake. The first night we were there, it was quiet. The second night, a herd of elephants moved in above us. They had a bunch of kids that ran all night long. Our internet quit around 7. The staff tried unsuccessfully to check above us to see if one of the kids unplugged the modem, which is apparently housed in the second floor unit. The "guests" would not allow the staff inside, so no internet for that night. We asked to be moved to another unit and were assured that the second floor guests were one couple. Yes, maybe true, but they moved after one night and we were back to having loud steps overhead. I feel for the staff. They have a terrible job trying to keep people happy in old, outdated and poorly insulated units. The "upgrade" units, the 4 "Presidential" units have elevators in 3 out of 4 buildings. All the rest are stairs. The outdoor pool was freezing! We could not use it. It did seem clean though. The indoor pool was cloudy but warmer. We played a lot of mini golf, which was free. There is a lot of other outdoor activities like basketball, tennis, ping pong, horseshoes, chess, checkers. The outdoor staff is helpful. The movie theater is fun and has movies all day, plus you can borrow many for the DVD player in your room. The grill in the clubhouse has overpriced food but it is the only place you can eat on the property. There's no laundry in the units but the laundry room has a lot of washers and dryers and they are free, bring your own soap. We went into Ottawa for a day and that was a fun town!

The grounds are well maintained abut the units are outdated and not well equipped. Get the top floor because the units are very noisy with someone staying above you. Taking a walk in the morning is great because the area is quiet.

We liked our stay; pleasant people who helped us daily. Beautiful Area, open countryside! Good restaurants downtown area for nights out! No Pets Allowed FYI but there's a pool and sauna area. Golf and Horseback Riding

Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves

My husband and I took a friend with us, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We did the paddle boats, rented numerous movies (for free), went to the water park, used the indoor pool, went biking, enjoyed walking around, etc. We went to the grocery store and cooked steak almost the entire week (instead of going to restaurants). Definitely plan on going to the grocery store - it makes the stay so much better because you can cook extravagantly! We used the grill for burgers. There were a few things that needed fixing in the room, but they were taken care of quickly (the resort appreciated us telling them). My only regret is that we have to wait two years before we can go again with our travel club!
