Beautiful, quiet stay

A superb b and b with the intimate feel of joining someone in their house whilst afforded the very best of private facilities. Sue's warmth is lovely and John's eggs (poached) must be up there witht he best. The views are stunning across to the sea, the whole place operates with just birdsong as its soundtrack. Lovely.

This has to be one of the best B&Bs we have ever stayed in! The setting was superb, the owners Sue and John, were perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The house is a beautiful, quirky old farmhouse but superbly appointed, well decorated and beautifully furnished. We booked late so our room was their smallest but it had everything we needed and the en suite was enormous. The breakfast alone deserves 10 out of 10. In fact, if I could, I would give it 11! If you are looking for accommodation in the Sidmouth area, I can't think of anywhere I would rather stay.

Lovely secluded setting, just right for a peaceful break away from the daily hustle and bustle. Perfectly located to explore the South Devon Coast. Extremely friendly welcome, really comfortable room, superb breakfasts. Lovely garden and patio at our disposal, as well as a cosy lounge if needed. Definitely recommend this family run B&B, and we will hopefully return again one day.

This is the best B and B that we have stayed in by far. I can honestly say that it was perfect. Location is amazing. The house is beautiful. It is incredibly peaceful yet a short walk to Sidbury and also many other places within easy reach. Sue is brilliant. Everything is done properly. The breakfast was fantastic. The lounge is lovely and we sat there to read or just relax. We stayed in the king size bed room. This is ensuite with a large bathroom. It's a lovely room with beautiful furnishings. I have done many reviews on trip advisor but without doubt this is the most charming and most enjoyable place that I have stayed. We will definitely be coming back. Ps just a note that children and dogs are not allowed. I love both but this is a place to get away from it all and have some peace and quiet.

Great bed and breakfast - excellent location surrounded by green fields and hills, very friendly hosts, quiet and lovely breakfast. Very reasonable price, and within easy access to local village pub and coast. Highly recommend!
