Satisfying stay: Simple, clean and comfortable hotel

The cost is low, but to our surprise, the rooms were clean and spacious. It appeared as a simple and nice hotel with good aura. Located at a very strategic area, amenities are close by. Ample car park available, which appeared safe and secure. There is a Chinese restaurant (food court) exactly opposite the hotel, and the famous "James Chendol" just a few minutes walking distance away, located exactly in front of the famous Hindu Temple. I will certainly stay at this hotel again when I visit Sitiawan.

Value for money and comfortable

The room was comfortable and well maintained. So good that I extended another night. I booked directly with the hotel website but the receptionist could not find my booking. I had the documentation to show, so instead of keeping me waiting, the receptionist let me check in without much hassle. The hotel is located near food places and shops. Short drive from Kampung Koh and Pasir Panjang Laut where the Tua Pek Kong temple is. The staff were helpful and very pleasant.

Basic room but value for money

Just checked out from this hotel on my short trip to Sitiawan. Good things : -Rooms are spacious and relatively clean. - Bed is comfy but a bit too soft for me. Come with flat screen TV and free WIFI Not so good things : - No jug kettle or complimentary coffee /tea. There is a common hot/cold water dispenser along the corridor though. - Looking for iron / ironing board or a mini bar... look no further but down the corridor. I thought it is really inappropriate to have a common fridge per floor. Staffs are generally ok... and I appreciated that the staff asked me how was my stay when I checked out. Having said that... I think they need to tighten the internal process. After checking in, I got a call at night on my mobile to ask if I have checked in. She explained that she just took over the shift and checking on all bookings that day. It shows there is poor coordination in registering their bookings and check-ins. Well.. there is not many hotel in Sitiawan going for below RM100 and comes with a swimming pool. But then again.. you may not even get to use it for just a stay. . :p.
