Smelled
First thing I noticed when I walked in the room was the smell. It smelled dirty and stale. And maybe a hint of smoke. The carpet looked stained. The window was open which made me wonder if they were trying to air out the room. I haven’t even looked at the bathroom yet. I was too tired. Definitely not what I expected for this place.
Getaway trip
My husband and I had a great time there. The rooms were clean and the staff very professional. We highly recommend this hotel. Restaurants shopping centers were close by. We didn't have to go far for anything at all
Nice enough Fairfield Inn
Stayed while in Nashville for the weekend. It's an okay hotel. Rooms were fine, breakfast was about average for the Fairfield brand, and overall the hotel seemed to be clean and well kept. I will say that the staff was not all that friendly. I probably walked by the front desk at least 5-6 times during my stay and nobody ever acknowledged me, welcomed me back, or really said anything to me at all.
Not recommending Nor returning
Bonvoy member, not a positive experience while traveling. Area ( and hotel) has construction, yet not noted while booking. noise was not an issue however. The awning/overhead not at front door area but construction clearly visible. ( later told by front desk it’s been over 6 mos looking this way) Tripping hazard on the walkway, needs painted edge or handrail. Not a welcome feel when one pulls up, but Check in was simple ...though WHY they’d place me in a room they allegedly Knew they had an issue with is unfathomable. Long Road tripping and exhausted, so Despite a musty odor, average to poor room, (broken window lock/first floor last room down left hall), I basically passed out anyway. It was an awful night. The odor/dampness did not dissipate. My partner literally hacked and had stuffy nose/sinus issues by morning (and thru most of next day. )But... what was worse... come morning... I enter sink area ( separate from shower/toilet area) and turned on light... Bugs crawling over the area, my make up case laying open. Horrified! No showers, just grabbed luggage and We went to front desk, spoke with female who’s apologetic reaction was that allegedly mgmnt knows about the end rooms having wetness issues! What? Said she was however unaware of bug situation. I asked to speak with mgr .. told to wait, waited until he arrived. Re-explained entire situation and also Included...the mold? Substance on ceiling shower area, paint chipping in same area, stained carpet, certainly not a dust free clean room. While we waited for mgr we did have ( included) coffee in bkfst area ( which was good) But, that area also has dirty stained bench seating and worse, our water from dispenser had Floating brown/gray particles in it, not lemon fragments. By that point we were more than done, truly disappointed and frankly disgusted. Mgr ultimately arrived and resolved the issue for our nites stay, thus no photos posted here. We would not return nor recommend to family/friends.
Convenient Location - Excellent Restaurant Choices Nearby
Quiet hotel just south of Nashville. Very convenient to I-24 with many excellent restaurant choices in the area. Friendly front desk staff. Would definitely stay here again on my next trip through this area.
