O hotel parece uma vila de casas de boneca, toda a decoração é em estilo Provençal. Ótimo local para relaxar. O café da manhã acontece em um salão que parece uma cozinha de vovó das histórias em quadrinhos e sob demanda é servido o especial do dia (quando estivemos era eggs enchilada) e o restante (pão, café, água quente, manteiga, geleia) fica disponível para que vc mesmo se sirva à vontade.

Uma pousada simples, super aconchegante e com um atendimento maravilhoso. A proprietária Brigitte é muito simpática e além de fazer um cafe da manhã maravilhoso da ótima dicas do que fazer em Solvange. Os quartos são grandes e confortáveis. Finalizando, a localização, apesar de fora da cidade, é excelente pois está próxima à cidade e no caminho das vinícolas.

Not worth the price

This is a quirky place that might appeal to some customers but for us was definitely not worth the price we paid. Several “amenity” features, including a communal courtyard fire pit which added to the ambience but which, practically, didn’t really work for us. We chose the Garden suite because of the private back yard for our dog. In the yard there was a hot tub (presumably) covered by a tarp (uninviting) , a sad looking love seat and a hammock(also uninviting) strung up between 2 trees. I thought the room had a kitchen when I selected it, but I must have been confused looking at other rooms which did. The “kitchen” in the garden suite was comprised of a half refrigerator located in the closet. There was a gas fireplace which our dog did appreciate but the bed was super soft and neither of us slept well. There were few free surfaces to place guest belongings despite the spaciousness of the room. There was a bar which had several liquor choices(for a price) along with a la carte snacks and water. We chose not to avail ourselves of the “included” breakfast based on the sad looking fruit available in the lobby. Instead we drove into Solvang and we’re glad that we did because it was lovely and worth a visit.

Peaceful and Aesthetically Pleasing

Some friends and I stayed here recently and enjoyed the quality of the rooms, the outdoor area, and the pool. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the location is perfect for a day of wine tasting in the valley. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Ynez. It is like a trip back to the future. What they have done with a 50's kind of motel is nothing short of amazing. The rooms are modern, the grounds are really extraordinary with water fountains, torches and fire pits and the staff could not be friendlier. Also, a GREAT jumping-off location to every winery and attraction in the area. We would go back in a heartbeat!
