I travel to Pierre Frequently and have the need to stay overnight and sometimes a couple of nights. I asked Mit if he could make my reservation for the next two months, and he agreed to do so, I then go out to eat and come back and under my door of my room were the confirmed reservations. Even though I made an error on my dates that I discovered while reviewing the confirmations. Mit smiled and said no problem I can fix those right away, and he did. It is service like this that will make me want to continue staying at here as it feel like my second home.
Clean hotel for a budget price!

We were in town and needed to move out of our Airbnb. It was difficult to find a room as hunting season had just started. We went to every hotel in Pierre, hoping to find a clean room at a reasonable price. Some hotels were helpful while others were rude and unwelcoming. At Baymont, we met Mit. He was warm and friendly as soon as we walked in. He explained everything the hotel had to offer and pointed out that housekeeping is excellent and on time. He wasn't wrong! We booked in for a week and requested no housekeeping for the first few days. Nobody disturbed us and the couple that cleaned the rooms were more than willing to provide us with towel changes and other essentials when we needed it. The hotel is right next to the river which is perfect for anyone that likes walking or jogging. For the most part, it's quiet here. Mit offered us a room away from the lobby and main road which we appreciated. Breakfast is served in the lobby/dining area every morning but there is always hot water and tea/coffee if you want to make it yourself at anytime. There is also a small gym with treadmill and bike. For those working away from home, the hotel has a business area which is a computer with internet connection. Overall I would recommended a stay here if you are looking for a clean place at a budget price. Many hunters stay here too this time of year. Across the street is the Clubhouse Hotel which has Redrossa restaurant next to it. Perfect for lunch, dinner or drinks. Nice atmosphere. The location of Baymont is perfect. For those not driving, Uber and Lyft doesn't really exist here or if drivers do come online, it's rare! River City Taxi (which is small a bus) will come and pick you up from the hotel to anywhere you need to go. You can pay the fare using cash or card once on board. Thank you Mit for making our stay so comfortable! You made it easy for us!

We stayed in the annex building next door to the main building. We liked it as it was quiet. I loved the location, you can easily walk down to the Missouri River and enjoy the park and walking path along the river. There are many other businesses near the hotel within walking distance. The room was clean, the staff were friendly, the breakfast was adequate and the rate we paid was very reasonable. Only a couple of issues. The bed in room 302 was very uncomfortable and we both had a hard time sleeping. Also, the cleaning person was very eager to have us gone. She asked me twice when we would be leaving. Not unfriendly in any way but it was clear she wanted us out. All in all a great value and we'd gladly stay again, although hopefully in a room with a better bed.
Best motel for the price ever

Trip advisor recommended this motel and we can see why. Comparable to many we have stayed at for twice the price. Pierre is not on our normal travel routes but if we ever comeback this is where we will stay.
Would Never Stay Again

I booked this hotel since it was 4/5 Stars. I was in town for an overnight bowfishing tournament so it would get over until 8am. We needed a place to rest before driving 4 hours home afterward. on arrival for check in, the guy at the desk said check out is 11 am. Online they said to ask about checking out late, which we intended to get as much sleep as possible. The checkout was agreed upon at noon. We went to bed and at 9:45 am someone kept knocking on the door. Startled, we answered the door and it was house keeping, the cleaning maid said we needed to check out so she could clean the room. We told her no because we had the room until noon. She said we needed to get out right now, so she could clean the room. We told her the earlier we would leave is 11 am. she said angrily that she would be back then to clean the room. Overall I paid $84 for a room to sleep for about 2 hours since we showered and everything before we drove home. The room was clean but the bathroom was attempted to be cleaned. There was long brown hair in the bathtub in the back corner, (2) dead large beetles (not roaches) on the floor by the toilet. I tried to call "Jordan" which was on our checkout sheet for any issues. I tried to call the number which was the front desk. The guy at the front desk said I cannot talk to Jordan because he is no longer with the company and there is no one else to talk to. I ask to talk to anyone else and he said there was a new manager in training. I did finally receive a call from Theresa later on. She was nice, and I told her the situation. I told her I would like reimbursement for the stay. She said she cannot reimburse me for the stay since It was thru Booking.com. She said she would see what she could do. Called booking.com and they said the Baymont offered to pay half of it back and that was company policy to only give that amount back since I stayed in the room. I would have rather saved my money and drove home exhausted and slept at home then be woken up for no reason. There is boat/ trailer parking if you can get a spot, otherwise it might be a long walk.
