Great location One of the best pools and hotel on the beach. Lots of access love the island. Staff is courteous and everything was clean. The small lunch available in the front lobby is fantastic at five dollars a taco. Would be great to see more chairs around the pool and people coming around and offering drinks at poolside.
I would give it a zero if I could.

The elevator was broken upon arrival so waited 40 minutes in line in the lobby while the one working elevator took 5 people up at a time. (Can’t take the stairs up 9 floors with a weeks worth of luggage…). The room is nice, but not cleaned well, we found someone’s belly button piercing on our side table. That night we had gone out for drinks. When we pulled the sheets back to get in bed and found a stain of PERIOD BLOOD… The first time I went to the front desk the man was apologetic and gave me new sheets. However when I went to change my sheets the stain was on the mattress pad not the sheets. So I had to go back down and tell the front desk where he gave me a “so what” kind of attitude. After some arguing and me having to make a plea over how disgusting that is, we received a new room. However it was on the floor our friends had to move off of earlier that day because they didn’t have hot water. So we went to check and sure enough NO HOT WATER…. Went back to the front desk where the man literally did not care at all and said so which one do you want were sold out… NEITHER we’re paying resort fees we do not want to sleep in a puddle of a strangers period blood and we want to shower in hot water. Didn’t think that was too much to ask. Then the man says well I took the new room away from someone else who’s reserved for tomorrow. So which room do you want?? We ended up fixing the issue ourselves. Because he didn’t offer anything. No help, no apology, just looked at us like we were stupid and annoying. We took the mattress pad out of the “new” room and put it on our “old” bed. It was a lot though because the zipper had to zip all the way around the entire mattress. An hour and a half long experience at 1:30 AM because housekeeping doesn’t work at night. And I’m am sorry for whoever comes to check into that “new” room tomorrow because clearly he had no plans to fix the fact that there is no hot water since he was already guilting us about moving once. Asking so I can’t rent this room out now either?? Obviously not we just told you there isn’t any hot water. Why would you want to?? I’ve had better experience and staff at a Motel 6 than this “resort”. The last 3 days we were there we woke up to the lovely noises of drilling, banging, and construction at 8 am. We wanted to end our vacation early. We noticed that now our shower didn’t have hot water… at this point obviously we were not going to pack up all our luggage for the third time. Not mention we would have to argue with the front desk again about needing a new room it just wasn’t worth it. So we showered in ICE COLD WATER for 3 days. Something else you should know about this “resort” is, if you’re coming for the pool and swim up bar, don’t. That bar is only open on the weekends and the Landshark Restaurant is open until 5:30 Mondays (not sure how late they’re open other days because we didn’t plan to go to the pool after finding this out). That’s about the time when you get back from the beach to get into the pool. And you can’t bring in your own alcohol so you just don’t get any. Another thing to mention about the pool is that every time I got in it, it didn’t matter if it was a busy Saturday or we were basically the only ones in there on a Monday, the amount of hair balls and bandaids and trash floating around, something you’re constantly trying to dodge is DISGUSTING. I wIll NEVER stay here again… and I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.
