Stayed here with my Father and two grown up sons for a weekend trip to visit the technical museum and wine fest. Great location and really helpful and friendly staff. Loved the design features in room 25.

Cozy family-run hotel

Nice and clean boutique hotel run by a local family who also live in the same building. The couple in charge were extremely helpful and take very good care of their guests. The hotel is on the outskirts of Speyer city, but a quick ride in either bus or cab will take you straight to the heart of this charming town.

Putting new meaning to being "guests" in a "family run" hotel, a trade off of family members each gave us a glowing welcome as we were shown to our room, called or came back for questions, and went in and out. Breakfast felt like we were just dropping by with family and friends, a feeling another guest must have felt too because he chatted with us freely like old friends. Our room was fresh, sparkly, and clean, designed with a unique flow and separation of elements that was intimate, private, yet convenient.

We stayed at there during our travels last year and will go back this year. Small hotel with a "at home feel". Breakfast is made by friendly owner, fresh brötchen and all - a typical delicious German breakfast.

Brilliant room - big, comfy bed. Good bathroom facilities. 15 minute level walk to town. Friendly, helpful staff. Simple but generous breakfast. All in all great value for money. But NO LIFT.. If you are likely to struggle getting up a flight or two of stairs with or without your luggage then either pass this one by or be prepared to ask for assistance.
