Alugamos um studio por uma semana e nesse meio tempo a internet não funcionou, na recepção reclamamos 3 vezes e nada fizeram. Ligamos para a operadora da internet (oi??!!) que resolveu por algumas horas e depois não funcionou mais. Os lençóis da cama achei meio sujinho, merecia algo mais novo.

False Fire Alarm Penalty of $1374 AUD for cooking a fish in a room with a kitchen

STAY AWAY! This establishment charged me $1374 AUD for setting off a "false alarm" fire alarm while cooking fish in my room. They advertise themselves as having small kitchens in their rooms, but when you cook a small fish (no smoke), the fire alarm is triggered. In my case, the entire Brisbane Fire Dept came on down to put out this "fire." There was no fire of course; there wasn't even smoke; even the fireman said the room wasn't properly ventilated -- the window opens about 2 inches total. Not only that but the smoke alarm is not placed in a corner but more central in the room, quite near the kitchen.

I only have this a reading of 1 because I couldn't give it a zero or minus rating! Terrible, stinking, filthy room that with no COVID-19 cleaning. The bathroom door was filthy and the cupboard door looked like it had dried phlegm on it, the remote for the TV didn't work, the 'high speed internet', didn't work, the bed frame was four cupboard doors of which three had fallen off, the curtains were stained, as was the couch, the floor was sticky and I got locked in the lobby and couldn't get to my car and was told I would have to pay a call out fee if someone had to come in and let me out or I could wait until reception opened. A guy who looked and acted like he was stoned for down on his hands and needs 'cleaning' some tiny scraps of paper of the floor with his USED tissues then proceeded to throw them in a pot plant at reception!

The stark, dirty room is NOTHING like the pictures. This is not a four star hotel. The quality is closer to 2. Old rickety bed. Eerily decorated. Rusty bathroom. Not the amenities needed. Tv did not work. Felt like a hospital room.

Let down by little things

The accomodation is fairly new, clean and well located near central station . I thought I had picked well but a few small things took the edge off the visit. Free wi fi but it was so slow as to be virtually unusable, no tissues in the room, the hot water was warm but not hot (washing dishes was difficult and you certainly did not use the cold water when in the shower!). There was a pod coffee machine but milk in the fridge was insufficient to make even a cup on arrival (quick trip to the 7 eleven before they closed!) and I had to ask for a toaster as they came with a warning the smoke detector was so sensitive I needed to very careful , there was a massive fine for accidentally setting it off. All little things but they would be expected in accomodation of that standard. The other issue was the kitchenette. Ok, it was a studio room, but there was a small electric hob with no instructions (I have never used electric) no work space for prep or to put the kettle, coffee machine, toaster, and more importantly the microwave was above head high so you couldn't read the dial and it meant getting out hot food from above your head ... The place was nice, just the little things took the gloss off in a 3 night stay.
