This hotel is now a disgrace! I have stayed here many times during the time I had to come to Milton Keynes. It then, was a great place to stay. Recently I had to return to MK for the funeral(!) of an old friend. This was obviously important to me. Booked into the Bull, my old haunt, only to find on arrival, that it was closed. What an appalling way to treat prospective customers! Avoid! Do not indulge this establishment, especially its new owners. Look at all recent reviews, not the ols ones , when it was a fine place! The Cock Hotel, or the Old George are better alternatives In Stony Stratford. Do not book into the Bull!!

Don’t book it…its shut!!

It’s shut! Booked the hotel on line, direct on their website, and had the confirmation email. Was really looking forward to it as the hotel was lovely the last time we stayed (two years ago). Arrived at 8.30 pm, ready for a nice evening and a two night stay and the place was closed. Went to the Cock pub next door who informed us that it has been shut for a while when Covid hit! unbelievable! They are still taking bookings and credit card details too! Really disappointed. The Cock Inn however was lovely and accommodating and we will leave a very positive review on their site.

Excellent - friendly staff, great value

My partner and I had to stay for two nights as I had a medical treatment and had moved from the area. We couldn’t have had better service. Friendly attentive staff - every one, made it a very pleasant stay. Decent food and very good value for money. Stony Stratford is a pretty town and so much more homely than staying in a Milton Keynes anonymous chain hotel. Music was a little loud in our room but that may not have come from the hotel itself. Aside from that - well done. Lovely smiley people, doing their very best.

We visited the Bull just before the recent lockdown, the meal was fantastic, Becky looked after us perfectly we had visited for the first time back in August, she remembered us from our first visit. We will definitely be going back when we are able to. Roll on December.

Amazing Service, compfortable rooms

Amazing service and food. I came for an special occassion and it didn't disapoint. The roast dinner was absolutely delicious. Our room was nice and tidy, the decoration was pleasant and the bed was really cosy. If I ever come back to Stony, I will defenitely choose this hotel again. A great point is that the hotel follows the Covid safety rules religiously, everything was clean and properly desinfected, so I felt compfortable and safe at every time.
