Welcoming. Main course good. Pudding disappointing, not homemade, not offered coffee which we could have done with to warm up. Very little heating if any so left rather cold. Good ample parking……………………………………………………………………………………..::::

Rooms need a good clean

Stayed here for 1 night. The pictures of the rooms look great old fashioned pub log fires etc Was given room 7 on arrival was shown to our room very thing looked fine but when the member of staff left we noticed a few issues Tea stains all over the skirting Thick dust everywhere not been cleaned in months Extractor fan not working in the bathroom Bathroom floor very dirty Both shower heads need descaling Bed very uncomfortable Carpet needed a good hoover We discussed this we a member of staff and she was very apologetic. We went out for dinner and returned some 5 hours later and none of the issues had been resolved We spoke to the manager this morning just to be told sorry but that still £115 for one night in a dirty room The breakfast was ok but could be hotter Would I stay here again definitely not

Lovely stay after Dorset steam fair

Honestly the best bed and breakfast I’ve ever stayed in, when we arrived we were greeted by Imogen who was so friendly and helpful. She showed us to our lovely room which was so clean and spacious, the sofa bed was already set up for us, towels on the bed and menus for us to look at. Milk and water in the fridge. The bedroom was perfect size for a family stay, big tv on the wall, lovely big bathroom with beautiful bath tub, they even supplied their own shampoo and conditioner. They left me extra milk for my baby for when we got back from the fair. The bed and pillows was so comfy. We booked our breakfast for 8.30 got downstairs and drinks were already out for us, the food was gorgeous best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. Each table has a selection of jams and honey. The attention to details was 10/10. They have a beautiful private garden with their own chickens and they even grow their own vegetables which is so lovely. My little boy loved the chickens. Was taken back by this little hidden gem and will definitely be coming back next year. Thank you so much for a warm welcoming stay.

Family night out after day at the beach Fantastic menu really different options, then the food was great, Mac burger (yes fried Mac n cheese), rump steak, fish and chips and crown burger all great, deserts, dark chocolate sphere brownie, and delivered by excellent waitress. Monday Night and busy really says it all prices slight up on current average but best meal we have had out in a good while so easily worth it highly recommend a visit.

Night before the Wedding and Next Night

Our wedding party had all the rooms the first night and we had 4 rooms after the wedding. Lots of people arriving at different times but handled wonderfully by the staff. We had the Hardy Room for our meal on the Friday evening - service and food great. Excellent choice for breakfast both days and the staff were so fun when we were leaving on the Saturday morning for the wedding venue. Beautiful stay and lovely staff, rooms, food. Highly recommend - we had a great time.
