Staff were nice, room was clean, we slept well, very good hotel for a hotel only rated 21/2 stars. Good location, we stayed only one night and the breakfast was good in the morning, go early to have more choices. The loby of the hotel is very beautiful like in the picture.

Racism from the hotel front desk

First of all let me start by this. We stay all over the country and book hundreds of rooms a year so we get to see how different places treat different guests. This morning 9/26 at 6:45am-7am my worker Bernie who we booked the room for was getting breakfast. The lady working for the hotel singled him out and said he wasn't a guest and couldn't get food. He said he was and even told her the room number and key. Again because he's of Hispanic accent she proceeded to need to call the room to verify he was staying there. I just got off the phone with her to file a complaint. She claims no manager was in but they would call me. The problem is because he wasn't white he was singled out and questioned getting breakfast while other people didn't. She doesn't seem to see the issue with this. Bernie was and still is very upset Avoid this hotel unless you want to be a victim of racism!!!!

Wow! Kay the front desk manager is amazing! She literally cares so much and has the right answer for any questions or concerns you may have. Even with the pool closed and no hot food Kay makes the stay all worth it.

Very clean, very quiet and very comfortable. Pizza delivery no problem. Big fridge, big TV, free in-room coffee/maker. Big trees outside my window. I could have the blinds open and still have privacy. Very pleasant to be in the room. Mattress was lumpy - I wasn't well so I spent a lot of time in bed, but my back hurt in the AM and for a couple of days after. The doors to the rooms can be quite loud when they close.

We stayed here a few times when it was a Days Inn and sometimes it was good and sometimes it was awful. The hotel has been totally remodelled, the rooms were spotless on our arrival, beds were comfortable, and the customer service was excellent. We always saw someone at the front desk no matter when we came in. We were there for three nights, but we didn't test out the breakfast that was included since we were visiting family.
